I put on Jimin's spare shirt and sat back down on the bench.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Namjoon asked still feeling guilty.
"Yeah." I smiled. "The coffee blocked my face. No harm no foul."
I extended my arms out to Namjoon so he could give me a hug. He smiled, showing his dimples and hugged me back. He ran back onto the court and continued playing. They played for another two hours when the sun started to go down and decided to call it a night. Since I took my car to school, I decided to meet Jimin at the restaurant we're going to eat at. We decided on ramen.
Arriving at the ramen shop, the waitress sat us on the high chairs sitting in front of the bar where they make the noodles.
"Today was fun, we should do it again." Jimin said as he opened up his straw to put in his water.
"Definitely. Except without the coffee." I chuckled.
He laughed. "It's a good thing I had my extra shirt, which looks good on you." he propped his elbow on the table and put his hand under his chin, eyeing me up and down.
I copied his movement. "Well you've seen me in your clothes before. Maybe later you can see me under these clothes." I rubbed my hand against his thigh slowly moving it up and down.
"Ooh, I would like that." his eyes became hooded and leaned forward to me giving me a slow kiss.
We both slightly laughed and when our food arrived we started eating. After dinner, Jimin met back at my place and we were greeted by my mom.
"Jimin, how are you?" she asked.
"I'm doing well, Ms.Choi, how are you?" he asked as he took his shoes off.
"Oh, you know. Lame office work but it's all worth it for this girl right here." she put her arms around me and pinched my cheeks.
I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Thanks, mom. We're going to be in my room."
"Before you go!" she brought out some mail addressed to me. "This came for you." I took it in my hand and noticed the one mail I was looking for.
"Jimin...it's from the university we applied to. It's the only university I applied to." I held onto the envelope, it was small. It wasn't like the big envelope you get when you're accepted and they provide all of the catalogs for you. I inhaled nervously and shuddered. "It's small...what if I didn't get in?"
"Hey hey," he grabbed my hand. "You are attending one of the most prestigious academies in the city and you are the top student in the grade. There is no way you didn't get in."
I smiled and opened the letter. I opened it and skimmed through it, with each line I read, my face fell more until I eventually dropped the letter on the ground and sat down the couch.
My mom picked up the letter and when she read it, her eyes shot up to me and sat down right next to me. "I'm so sorry, honey."
I felt like my whole world was about to collapse. "How could I not get in." I quietly said. "I did everything right. I got the right recommendations I needed."
Jimin sat on the other side of me and put his arm around me. "I'm sorry, Y/n. I guess we'll both be looking for a different university to go to."
I looked at him. "What do you mean 'we'?"
"If you didn't get in what makes you think I did?"
"Jimin." I grabbed his hands and looked at him. "We'll change our plans tonight for another night. You need to go home and check your mail."
