Jin POV

"Jin, I know you said you want it to be a surprise but when are you coming? My trip here is almost done." Y/n said through the phone.

I chuckled. "Patience, my sweets. I promise you when I come over in the middle of the night I want it be special. You're worth it."

She giggled. "You're so sweet," she paused and I heard a voice coming from the background. "I should probably go say good morning to the rest of them. They're waiting for me to come out."

"Okay, have a good day."

"You too, bye." she hung up the phone.

I sighed and laid down on my bed.

The week is almost done and I have yet to surprise y/n with my visit. We have only been dating for a short time but she is really special, more special than anyone I've met. I don't want this to be just a visit, I want this to be something for me to show her just how special she is to me.

I was getting another call on my phone.

"Rachel?"

"Jin!" it was Aiden's voice. "Rachel's in labor!"

I immediately sat up in my bed. "What?! B-but she's not due for another month!"

"I know! She started having contractions really early this morning and she thought it was nothing because they were irregular. But then her water broke not too long ago and now we're on the way to the hospital. We need you there!"

"O-okay! I'll meet you there!"

I hung up the phone and quickly put on a pair of sweats and put on a jacket. I ran out of the door, into my car, and drove to the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital, I parked my car and ran inside. I went straight to the maternity ward waiting room where Aiden was sitting down, hands folded and resting on his chin as he was slumped over.

"Hey," I put my hand on his shoulder and he looked up.

He was relieved to see me as he stood up and gave me hug.

"How is she?" I asked.

He sighed out and sat back down. "The doctors told me that since she is early, the baby hasn't been positioned correctly yet. They're going to have to do a c-section. I was with her up until ten minutes ago when they took her for surgery. She didn't want me in the room with her."

I sat down next to him. "She's strong. They're both going to be okay."

"Yeah. I'm just worried. She's been telling me she's been feeling very stressed lately, probably why she ended up in labor early." Aiden groaned out. "Ugh, why couldn't I have helped her more? If I was able to keep her calm then she wouldn't be giving birth a month early."

"Hey, you wouldn't have known this would happen."

Aiden sighed out and leaned his head back, closing his eyes. We sat in a comfortable silence until he spoke.

"We were going to wait until it was close to the birth date but since that's today...Rachel and I wanted to ask you something."

I looked at him waiting for his question.

"We were wondering if you would be the godfather to our child."

I was taken aback. I quickly huffed out and I smiled. "Really? You want me to your child's godfather?"

Aiden nodded. "There's no one else we would want besides our best friend. You can be Uncle Jin."

I gripped the top of his shoulder before pulling him for a hug. "Thanks, man. Of course I'll be the godfather."
