Ch39

Jin POV

I nervously bounced my leg sitting in the seat, awaiting for what's to come next. Y/n was forced to wait in another room. She fought to be inside with me but in the end she ended up being dragged into another room. 

We were caught...

And the worst person to get caught by...her father. 

Headmaster Lee paced back and forth in front of the seat of his desk. He fingers ran through his hair out of frustration and he kept sighing heavily. Every now and then he would glare at me. I thought I should say something, but I didn't know what to say. 

"I knew there was something she wasn't telling me. I didn't think the secret would be you."

"Sir, if you would let me exp--" I started.

"No!" He raised his voice. "You don't get to say anything right now." He let out another frustrated sigh. 

I stayed quiet. All we could hear was the faint music coming from the gym to fill up the silence of the room. 

After a few minutes he threw his fist on his desk, making me jump. 

As calm as he could be he spoke again. "I received an anonymous call that there was something between the two of you so before jumping to any conclusions I had to find out myself."

Who found out about us? Y/n and I have been so careful to make sure we don't get caught. 

Headmaster Lee continued. "What in the world are you thinking involving yourself with a student, let alone my daughter?"

I gulped. From this moment on, I didn't want to say the wrong thing. "We tried not to. I was the only teacher that actually cared about her, and it amounted to something more."

"So because you care about her you think this is okay?" He scoffed and sat down. "I confided to you about her! You told me to be open when it comes to her relationships! This whole time you were just talking about yourself!"

"Yes, I was."  l sighed out. "We were going to tell you. But it was supposed to be after she went off to college."

"That still wouldn't be okay!" He continued to yell. "You're much older than her!"

"Well, only by five years so--"

He got up from his chair and practically reached to me and grabbed my collar. "It's not okay!"

My blood pressure started going up. I reached for my pocket to try and get my pills but Headmaster Lee was preventing me from doing so.

"You look at me!" He pulled my collar tighter. 

"Sir, I need to--"

"I don't care what you need!" Every time he would yell at me he would grip on my collar tighter.

My hands clenched into tight fists and it felt like the anger was surging through my body as I tried to fight it back. Headmaster Lee finally let go of my collar and I fell into my seat. He stopped talking for a few minutes again and I tried to use that time to try and steady my breathing and calm down. But it seemed that the longer this went, the worse it was getting. I was afraid that if I tried to reach for my pills again he would get more mad than he already is. 

"W-Where is she?" I finally asked.

"You're not seeing her ever again. You're fired."

I already knew that when y/n and I were caught that I would be fired. But I was hoping that I would have a fighting chance of staying with her.
