Mind - Jin || Completed

Ch23

After cuddling for a while, Jin finally got up from bed and took me downstairs to get a snack. I put on my panties and put on one of Jin's t-shirts that barely cover my butt.

"What do you feel like eating?" Jin asked looking through his pantry. "I have spaghetti, chicken, steak.."

"Hmm. Chicken." I smiled. 

He got out his pots and pans, some carrots, and his cutting board. He took the chicken out of his fridge and started to prepare it.

"Do you need any help?" I asked.

"No need." he smiled. "The only help I need from you is to stand there and be pretty."

I giggled and sat down on his chair facing the counter. 

I watched him as he expertly prepared everything, from cutting the carrots, and taking the fat off the chicken. 

I smiled at him. "Do you like cooking?"

"Love it." he answered. "I've been cooking since I was a kid. I wouldn't want to be one professionally but I love being able to make people happy with my cooking."

"Well it smells delicious."

He chuckled. "It'll taste even better."

I remembered about having dinner with my mom so I just texted her that I would be having dinner somewhere else, and she was fine with it. After about a half hour, Jin finished plating everything and joined me on the counter table. 

I took a bite of his food and complimented of how good it tastes. I was happy that I was able to spend this type of quality time with Jin. All we ever had for the last month was his classroom and the uncomfortable table. From the fact that I'm here, in his house, having dinner with him, I couldn't believe it.

"Y/n." Jin said snapping me out of my thoughts. "What's with your funny smile?"

I covered my mouth and nervously chuckled. "Am I smiling funny?"

"Yeah. It's very cute though." he cut off a piece of his chicken and fed it to me. "What were you thinking about?"

"I'm happy." I smiled. "I was just thinking about how I get to be here with you. We used to be stuck in your classroom doing everything together and I finally get to be in your house with you."

"And it won't be the last you'll be here. Whatever chance I can get you here, I will." he took my hand kissed the back of it. 

I sighed happily. "So any plans for spring break?"

Jin shrugged. "I don't know. I might see my friends. My friend, your old teacher Ms. Day, is going to give birth soon and I want to spend as much time with her and her husband before they become parents."

I laughed. "I kind of feel bad for making fun of her now. I wasn't exactly her favorite student."

"Choi Y/n actually feeling remorse?" Jin said sarcastically. "Looks like you're not all bad."

I laughed and shook my head. "Well...someone is changing me." I looked at him and smiled. 

Jin smiled sweetly and kissed me on the cheek. "What about you? What are your plans?"

"I'm going to my mom's cabin with everyone from detention."

Jin's suddenly slammed his fork down on his plate, making me jump. "You mean, all the guys?'

"Y-yeah."

He furrowed his eyebrows and deeply sighed out. "Should I be concerned about this? You're going to be the only girl in a cabin with all of these guys, not to mention Jimin, who you have had sex with. And I've seen how they act around you. They're all trying to get with you."

I knew Jin was a little jealous with my interaction with them but I didn't think he would be this jealous. His eyes were full of anger and I noticed that his hands were starting to shake. 

"Jin." I softly said and put my hand on his cheek. He closed his eyes and sighed out, taking hold of my hand. "There is nothing for you to be jealous of. I promise you, as your girlfriend, I am one hundred percent yours and no one can steal me."

Jin calmed down and softly smiled. "Okay. That makes me feel a little better. I wish I would be able to see you though. A week without you is a long time."

"Well...if I give you the address to my cabin maybe you can sneak in at night?" I suggested. "It's not that far from here and we could at least spend the night together. If you don't want to--"

"I want to." Jin smiled. "I want to." he repeated pulling me in for a hug.

After dinner I wouldn't take no for an answer when Jin wouldn't let me clean the dishes. I cleaned the dishes while he dried and put everything away. Once we were done I decided to put the rest of my clothes back on and I met Jin in the living room so he could start working on grading his papers.

I watched him in silence as he concentrated on each paper and all I could do was admire him.

"Did I get an A?" I teased.

He chuckled. "Of course you did. You're valedictorian you can't be getting bad grades now."

I groaned. "I still can't believe that I have to make a stupid speech. You really never found any other scholarships over the last month?"

"I really tried finding one, I did. But this is your best option, y/n."

I pouted and got up from the couch. "Fine. I'm going to use your bathroom, where is it?"

Jin pointed. "It's right down there, first door to the left."

I kissed him on the cheek and walked over to the bathroom. 

After doing my business I reached next to me to get toilet paper but the roll was empty. I sighed out and reached over to his cabinets under the sink to try find one. I had no luck finding one in the first cabinet closest to me so I had to reach far to open the second one. To my luck I was able to find a roll. But next to it I saw an empty pill bottle prescribed under Jin's name.

"Zyprexa?" I whispered. 

I've never heard of it before but I didn't want to be the girlfriend that snoops through her boyfriends stuff. We literally just became official, I don't want to ruin it already. 

I finished in the bathroom and walked back out in the building. I curled up on the couch and rested my head on Jin's shoulder. 

"Hey since my car is in the garage, I'll drive you back to your car so you don't have to walk alone in the dark."

I nodded my head and then closed my eyes to take a little nap.
