When I came to, I was in a dark room. Nothing seemed out of place, but still felt off. All these thoughts swarmed in my head. I realized I had no memory of how I got here. “Well, look who finally decided to wake up” a man said. I recognized the voice immediately and was in shock. The closer it got the more I wanted to run. “What do you want from me?” I asked in a shaky voice.
“Maybe nothing, maybe everything.” he said. “Where am I?” “Believe me you are in a safe place.” he said, stepping closer to me. I was sitting in a chair, I couldn't move my hands. “What did you do, rescue me?” I said, “Look at it that way if you want” he said I tried to take in my surroundings, wondering where I could be.
“If I'm in a safe place then why don’t I feel like I am.” I wanted answers. “That’s on you sweetheart.” he said, sending chills down my spine. “Don’t call me that.” I said in a stern voice getting a little annoyed, but the fear took over. “I’ll call you whatever I want.” he said, assuring me that he was the one in control. I rolled my eyes and sighed. “Please let me go, I have to get home.” I said processing what is going on by this point. “How about, no, see all you had to say was yes, then I wouldn't have to damage that pretty little face of yours,” he said.
“What are you talking about?” I was confused by what he meant. “You know what I mean, all that time you spent with Jack hoping he would make you feel safe. When really you just wanted attention. See, what you really needed was me.” he said standing right in front of me. “That isn’t true.” I said realizing why he kidnapped me. “Oh but it is true.” he said, placing his hand on my shoulder. “Get your hands off of me.” I said, starting to nearly panic. He slapped me reassuring me that he was in charge.
I need to get out of here. He gripped my arm and pulled me with him, after untying me. “Where are you going?” I said getting worried. “Don’t worry about it.” he said, gripping my arm tighter. “You’re hurting me, stop, let go of me!” We walked down the hall to a room, and he opened the door. Something hit me over the head and everything went black again. I felt someone pick me up and throw me on the bed, I tried to move, and run but I had no strength, I wanted to scream but couldn’t. There was no hope for me now. No way out. No way home. Nothing. I was alone.
