The next few weeks had been difficult. School had been slightly easier. I still had nightmares, flashbacks, even PTSD. I’ve been journaling, a lot more than I thought I would. I mainly stayed in my room, reading, writing, crying. Thinking everything was my fault, thinking that I deserved everything I got. I’ve been cutting myself, I know it sounds bad, but I needed a source to release the pain, writing normally helped, but lately it hasn’t.
Jack and I got back together, Me and Abby got closer. My life was going great, other than the darker parts of it. I was In my room listening to music. When I got a phone call from detective Hughes, she said to have Jack come as well as my mother. We arrived at the police station, following detective Hughes to a computer. “What are we here for?” I asked, getting curious. “We were filing the final report, over everything including with your father.” she said looking at my mom. “We came across something, intriguing.” She said typing on her computer.” We hoped it could be a mistake, but DNA doesn't lie.” Porter said. “We ran two DNA samples, mainly just standard procedure. But the DNA samples we ran were yours and another person.”
“What are you saying?” I said getting anxious. “You had a half- sibling.” Porter said, turning her computer towards me.Rick Sanchez.
