“Okay,” he said and stepped out of the way. I nearly jogged out of the bathroom, trying to find Jack. When I did, I looked behind me to see if Rick was there. “Are you okay?” Jack asked, “yea. Yea I’m fine” I said trying to seem normal, I was shaking, I didn’t know what was gonna happen. Always trust your instincts.
Jack seemed to notice me more on edge, I tried to hide it but I couldn’t, “Emma, are you sure you’re okay?”
“yea I’m fine,” I said trying to control my shaky hand. I looked around for Abby, she must still be upstairs.
I know I shouldn’t have lied to him, but if he knew the truth he would have put me under his protective custody. I couldn’t deal with him being so protective, but I guess he still has feelings. I got thirsty, and Jack yet again must have noticed. He asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I said yea, he left to go get it, I trusted him so I wasn't really worried.
He came back and I asked what it was, he said it was punch. I drank it, and felt a bit more relaxed, although I felt weird, as if someone spiked it, Jack wouldn’t do that. Jack led me to the couch and waited for Abby so we could leave. Soon people began to leave and I was still on the couch. Soon enough I passed out and I couldn't remember anything else. Everything became black.
