Chapter 9 : Go to hell!

Binitiwan ni Jasper ang kapatid and look at his friend intently.

"You can't be this crazy man!" di makapaniwala nyang bulalas.

"Haha but we're all crazy, aren't we?" nakuha pang magbiro ni Renz.

"Dude, this is not something to joke around. Look, buntis ang kapatid ko! Pero kahit tanga ka --"

"Tanga talaga ako!" sabat ni Renz para maputol ang litanya ni Jasper. Then gave him a deadly glare na nagpatahimik kay Jasper.

Jiya for some reason haven't muttered a single word and only god knows what she was thinking.

Renz faced Mr. and Mrs. Reyes. "I'm sorry about Jiya. But like what I said while ago, gusto ko pa rin pong pakasalan si Jiya and claimed to be that child's father."

The couples were still in shock but Mr. Reyes don't have a plan to stay in shock forever so he cleared his throat and tried to find the right words to say. "Hindi natin pwedeng ipagkait sa ama ng bata ang katotohanan."

Renz shrugged. Somehow, he was expecting that Mr. Reyes would be glad to his offer but a father, will always be a father and Renz do understand.

"Well, Tito. I'm just trying to help but it's still up to you." Renz is now getting bored. "Take it or Leave it."

Nagsimula ng tumalikod si Renz.

Palabas na sya ulit ng pinto ng, "Hijo wait.." tawag ni Mr. Reyes.

"Dad hayaan nyo na syang umalis! I'm not interested with the offer of that bastard! Papanagutan ako ni Mharky and I'm sure of that. "

Muling lumingon si Renz.

"You heard your daughter Mr. Reyes. She's not interested, see?"

Renz may be talking sarcastically now but deep inside, he was still the same crazy lover boy. Ayaw nya lang ipakita kay Jiya na higit sa lahat ay sya ang nasasaktan.

"Give us time hijo.."

"What? What the hell!" si Jiya. Her voice is firm like she hadn't break down while ago.

"Yeah. what the hell." Renz rolled his eyeballs mentally.

Mr. Reyes gave his daughter a glare causing the latter to shut up.

"So what is it tito?" baling ni Renz Kay Mr. Reyes.

"Give us two weeks to fix this mess. Sorry but we have to find that Mharky."

Nagsisimula ng mapikon si Renz. Anong tingin ng mga ito sa kanya? Hilo?

"I'm sorry?" Renz looked at Mr Reyes seriously. "But Mr. Reyes I have a life to attend to. I'll be leaving in two days and forget everything. Then good luck!" wala ng pakialam si Renz na mataas ang tono ng pananalita nya, bastusan na din naman 'to ng pagkatao eh!

Tumalikod na ulit si Renz and don't have any intention to look back again pero bigla syang napahinto.

Nagsalita si Renz ng nakatalikod. "Well, my offer is still open in two days. Jiya can still ask me to marry her if that asshole boyfriend of hers won't show up. Or better yet, let her follow me hanggang States and propose to me in front of my family ."

Renz laughed at his thought.

"Go to hell!" pahabol pa ni Jiya .

"Yeah sure. We'll go there together and it's gonna be hot days and nights!" Renz, being nonsense.

Marahas na hinampas ni Renz ang manibela when he's inside his car.

He couldn't help but breakdown.

"Ahhhh!!! Life couldn't be this unfair!"

Akala nya, ito na ang tamang panahon to get Jiya back.

But he was wrong.

He is now facing the Dead End.

Yeah. DEAD END. Renz might be stubborn and desperate in some way, pero once na maging mag-asawa na sila Mharky at Jiya, hindi na kasama sa plano nya ang manira ng pamilya.

Seryoso sya sa sinabing handa syang akuin ang responsibilidad na maging ama ng ipinagbububtis ni Jiya pero nandyan ang katotohanang, handa din itong panagutan ng tunay nitong ama.

Should I start praying that Mharky won't show up?

Bad idea. It will be end of the world for Jiya.

For a while ay nag-isip si Renz kung saan sya pupunta.

He's tired physically and mentally at gusto nyang umuwi. Lock his self inside the room. Fall asleep. Dream a good life with Jiya. Wake up like everything was fine.

But he has to face the reality. He don't need to pretend like everything's fine.

He just want to forget.

At least, for a while.

Renz find his way to a bar.

On the other hand , the Reyes family's eyes were focus on Jiya like she's the only one who exist. Nakikinig sila sa sinasabi nya.

"Bakit sabi mo nasa bakasyon lang yang boyfriend mo?" si Jasper.

"I lied." sinabi na ni Jiya sa kanila ang lahat.

"Obviously, he's just running away from his responsibilities!" si Mr. Reyes.

"Dad, he's not! Hindi nya pa alam but I'm sure, once he find out about this, papanagutan nya ako." si Jiya.

"Then, pauwiin mo ang boyfriend mo at iharap sa amin!" si Mr. Reyes.

"Dad! You know he can't. He has a job contract. He can't just go home anytime he wants to.!"

"If he can't. Then you have to marry Renz!"

"But.."

"No buts. Tell your boyfriend he has two days to decide!" May pinalidad ang boses ni Mr. Reyes.

Hindi nakapagsalita si Jiya. Still not in to the moment.
