Hindi akalain ni Rain na magagawa niya ulit buksan ang kanyang mga mata pagkatapos mahulog sa napakataas na bangin.

Inilibot niya ang kanyang mga mata at nakita niya sa siya'y nasa isang silid. Pagtingin niya sa may pinto ay merong nakasilip na bata, tatayo sana siya pero bigla itong tumakbo.

Rain: "Uggh, shit!. Nasa'n ako?."

Hindi niya maalala ang nangyare pagkatapos siyang ihulog ni Nelson sa tulay.

Naupo muna siya at tinignan ang kanyang mga sugat, naka-bandage na ang mga ito at mukhang may gumamot sa kanya.

???: "Good. You are awake."

Rain: "!???"
(Startled)

Isang armadong lalake ang bumati sa kanya, naka-bandana ito at pang-sundalo ang suot. Nasa likuran nito ang bata at parang nagtatago ito kay Rain.

???: "How are you feeling?."

Rain: "Who are you?."

Ralph: "I'm Lieutenant Ralph Vargas. There's nothing to fear, you are safe here."

Rain: "Where am i?. How did i get here?."

Ralph: "We found you lying unconscious near the river, bleeding."

Rain: "River?. Bleeding?."

Naalala ni Rain na tumama siya sa malaking bato habang tinatangay siya ng ilog.

Ralph: "It seems death is not ready for you yet, Mr. Loire."

Rain: "!?????"

Nagulat si Rain at kilala siya ng taong ito.

Rain: "You know me?."

Ralph: "Every living soul here in South America knows you. Other consider you as savior while other does not."

Rain: "And which one are you?."

Ralph: "For me, you're just....a troublemaker."

Rain: "Heard that a lot."

Ralph: "I recall the last time you were here in South America you assassinate Governor Golvez, that was 2 years ago, am i right?."

Rain: "....Where am i, exactly?."

Ralph: "You are in Favela."

Rain: "Rio. So i've drifted that far up the mountain?.
(Whisper)

Ralph: "You are lucky we found you, you are almost at the edge of life after you hit your head on something. Its bleeding bad."

Rain: "I guess...i owe you, you saved my life. Thank you, Lt. Vargas."
(Offering to shake his hands)

Ralph: "....Just Ralph will be fine. No need for formalities."
(Accepted the offer)

Rain: "I don't mean to be straighforward, Ralph. But can i borrow your cellphone?. I need to contact my superior, they must know where i am and tell them my condition."

Ralph: "I won't do that if i were you."

Rain: "Wh-what, why?."

Ralph: "Why don't we step outside and continue this conversation later?. I'm sure you are hungry after a long nap."
