Before Summer knew it, she was on her way back to Virginia. She spent her last day in her Grandma's house sipping coffee with both Grandma & Serena. She wouldn't have had it any other way. There was definitely an exchange of tears when they all said goodbye, but the Harper women all looked forward to the time they would have together again.

Serena waved bye to Summer as she loaded up her Uber. It was a bittersweet goodbye. She would be missing Summer again, but she also knew she wouldn't have room to grow if Summer didn't leave. Summer was right, Serena had been a bit inconsiderate. Serena had been used to setting her own schedule & being her own boss. She needed to take Grandma in consideration, even if Grandma knew right & well how to take care of her self. Summer was the glue that held everyone together & Serena would miss that.

Serena couldn't wait to see Antonio again, but she was embarrassed about how dinner went the other night. Antonio visited Serena & charmed & talked her into agreeing on another evening at his place, but this time, he would introduce her to another part of his life.

Serena picked a more conservative outfit instead of the mini skirt she wore the other night. She just thought there was nothing wrong with showing off her post baby body. She was proud of how her body had bounced back & wasn't afraid to show it off. And... she was only 18 after all she didn't want to dress like a homely woman. She dressed in pants & a turtleneck sweater. She looked at herself in the mirror & decided this was the outfit she'd get approval by Antonio's grandparents in.

Antonio waited downstairs for Serena while she got ready.

Serena: This is the most conservative outfit I can find.
Antonio: Serena, I really want you to just be yourself.

Serena sighed as she walked into Antonio's arms.

Serena: I know, but I really really want your grandparents to like me.

She laid her head on Antonio's chest & Antonio laid just chin rested nicely on top Serena head. He kissed her head & she looked up. His arms were wrapped around her.

Antonio: They already like you. You wanna know why?
Serena: Why?
Antonio: Cause they like whoever I like. And I like you... a lot.

Serena smiled & felt reassured by Antonio. They broke their hug & held hands to Antonio's car. Serena was nervous & excited all at the same time. The last time she felt this way was with Bennet. Except this time, she also felt safe. Once they reached Antonio's grandparents' house, they were welcomed by the smell of fresh salsa & tamales.

Serena: Wow, that smells delicious.
Antonio: Abuella? We're here...

Antonio's abuella was in the kitchen finishing up the meal. Serena immediately took her coat off & started helping Abuella. Abuella was impressed & so was Antonio.

Antonio found Abuello outside on the deck smoking his evening cigarette. He was greeted with a hug & kiss from him. Antonio was very close with his grandparents. Both of his parents abandoned him when he was young. His father was in prison & his mother was a drug addict & she actually was a teen mom herself. Antonio never felt bad about not knowing his parents because he was grateful for his grandparents. They put him through school, taught him everything he knew & supported him throughout his ups & downs. Abuello asked Antonio about Baby Manny. Antonio showed him pictures from his recent visit to the hospital. Abuello felt bad that he couldn't visit & he knew it was because he was a smoker.

Abuello: Estoy tratando de dejar de fumar. (I'm trying to quit smoking.)

Antonio placed his hand on Abuello's shoulder.
