Dylan: You're giving me the shop?
Dyxon: Yeah! You've put in so much work over the past year. To tell you frankly, I should've done this a lot sooner.
Dylan: Oh... So you trust me with your shop?
Dyxon: It's your shop now. After we sign all the paperwork. Dylan, you know this place & our clientele like the back of your hand. There's no one else I'd trust this company to than you. So... say something. Anything.
Dylan: I'm... I'm just surprised that's all.
Dyxon: You're speechless!
Dylan: You could say that.
Dyxon: Look, I gotta run to the bank before the rush so I'll be back, but we'll talk numbers & dates when I get back. This'll be great son!
Dylan: Yeah, this'll be... somethin'.

Dylan had worked at his dad's auto shop for years. He's worked full-time now for the past year or so. He enjoyed the hard labor & working closely to his dad & cousin, Brian, but he never thought about turning this into a career. He honestly didn't know what to do with his life, career-wise, but he knew he didn't want to work on transmissions, tires & car detailing all his life. He thought of the garage as sort of a career limbo before he'd reach his final job. He didn't want to let his dad down & he didn't know how to tell him that he didn't want to take over the business. He decided to take a quick coffee break. He took off the top half of his jumpsuit & tied it around his waist. He flipped his hat around to push his hair back out of the way. He walked over to the lounge area & started up the coffee machine. There was a sign that hung up on the wall that read,"Enjoy a cup on us" in the prettiest penmanship. It was Summer's penmanship. It had been months since he last saw her & weeks since he's thought of her. He started to notice that he was slowly, but surely starting to get over her. After all, she started out as a one night stand. Nothing was to become of it if you really sat down & thought about it. Their whole relationship was all about sex. And the sex was great, but there were more important things to a relationship than just sex. Sure they talked & got close, but it just wasn't in the cards for them. He stirred a packet of sugar into his coffee & took a sip all while staring at the sign. His phone started to buzz in his pocket. He set his coffee down so that he could answer the call. It was an unknown number, but he answered it anyway.

Dylan: This is Dylan.
Michie: Hey Dyl head!
Dylan:Michie?
Michie: Yup!
Dylan: What's up?
Michie: I was wondering what you were up to?
Dylan: I'm at work right now.
Michie: Hmm, really?
Dylan: Yes, but I'm on a quick break. Did you need anything?
Michie: Yeah, I was want to know why you wear your baseball hat like that? It totally makes your head look even bigger.

Dylan looked up & around.

Dylan: What the heck, Michie? You're here?!

Michie walked up from behind Dylan from the garage. Dylan turned around to see her.

Dylan: Michie.
Michie: Hey Dyl head...

They both hung up their phones & Michie ran to hug Dylan.

Dylan: But I'm all greasy.
Michie: I don't care. I've missed you.
Dylan: I've missed you too.

Dylan & Michie shared a quick, but sweet hug. Along with the feelings her had for Summer were the angry feelings he had towards Michie. He used to blame her for why he & Summer broke up, but he was now coming to terms that all things happen for a reason.

Dylan peeked outside & saw a whole trailer behind Michie's truck.

Dylan: Wait, you drove this whole way?
Michie: Yeah! It's wasn't too bad.
Dylan: What brings you here?
Michie: It's a long story, but... to make the long story short, you brought here here.
Dylan: Me?
Michie: Yeah, a couple months ago you kept talking about the west coast & all these places here in Seattle & I thought, "Why not come over here & see what all the fuss is about?".
Dylan: I see.
Michie: Aren't you happy to see me?
Dylan: No, yeah, I am! I just... I just found out I'm gonna be taking over my dad's garage business.
Michie: That's great. Looking to hire anyone. Cause uh... Ya girl is lookin' for a job.
