"Skipping Class"

Serena felt bad for blowing Brian off & for not making time for him like she should be. They planned for another try & a "take two" of their first night together. But this time, they met in the middle of the day. Brian skipped out on the last class of the day. He was getting A's in that class anyway & wasn't worried at all. Serena had a free period at the same time. The timing would be perfect. The two talked about getting a room at a local hotel. Serena had packed a bag for the special time they had planned together. They stood at the counter & checked in. The hotel clerk gave them judgy looks that made Serena feel cheap. In the elevator, Serena told Brian about how she felt.

Brian: Serena, there's nothing to feel bad about here? We're two consenting adults. And we're being responsible. I brought condoms. Don't worry.

Serena smiled & giggled & Brian's goofiness. She appreciated how sensitive he was to her feelings.

Serena: Thanks, Brian.
Brian: And by the way, I'm sorry if this wasn't what you pictured it to be.
Serena: Hey, you're here & I'm here. That's all that matters.

They reached their floor & walked down the velvet carpet to their room. Serena lured Brian into the room & made her way to the bed. Brian set the bags down & followed her in. Brian stood straddling between Serena's open legs. She removed his jacket & started to remove her own clothing. They both slowly slipped off article of clothing after the next while kissing each other between their undressing.

Brian: Wow, look at us multi-task.

Serena tousled Brian's hair while kissing his neck.

Brian: I guess we'll be getting lunch later on.

Serena placed her finger over Brian's lips.

Serena: Shh...
Brian: Yeah, I wasn't hungry anyways.

Brian was down to his boxers. Serena was down to her bra & underwear. She pulled him to hover over her. She was on her back & Brian was on top of her reaching for her bra straps. He slipped one shoulder strap down & started to kiss her neck down to her chest. As he was making his way down to her breasts, her phone started to ring. Both of them sighed.

Serena: I'm so sorry.

Serena groaned & grabbed her phone to turn off her alarm. It was an alarm to breastfeed or pump milk.

Serena: Mom life. I can't escape it.

Brian sat on the bed  next to Serena as she began to set up her breast pump up equipment.

Serena: Super romantic. I know...

Brian inched his way closer & helped her. He looked into her eyes. He moved in closer to kiss her, but all the pumping equipment was in the way & created a barrier between them.

Serena: I'm sorry, Brian.
Brian: Hey, don't be.

Brian sweetly caressed Serena's dark hair back.

Brian: It'll happen when it happens. We don't have to rush it.

Brian put his arm around Serena & kissed her cheek & started to help her pump out the milk.
