"From This Day Forward (Part 3 to One Night Stand)"

"Aloha"

Nat glared at the sun, placed his hand over his perfectly waxed & shaped brows & then dug through his purse to find his shades. He found them after about a minute of rummaging through the lipgloss & old receipts. He put his sunglasses on & exclaimed,"This sun is brighter than my future!"
Krystal: Isn't it great? Girls! Girls! Come here!

Krystal's girls had all this bottled energy from the flight & now they were all happy to be on land & moments away from seeing their daddy. They were running around & Krystal chased them around a fountain in front of the airport's gift shop. Soon there was a shuttle bus that picked up, Summer, Nat, Krystal & her girls & brought them over to the military base to reunite with their loved ones. Summer was excited & nervous to see Jay. It had been months & she couldn't wait to see him & be in his arms again. The shuttle bus arrived & came around the curbside. A big man in a Hawaiian t-shirt came out & loaded the under storage with Nat, Summer & Krystal's things. He greeted everyone with a big smile & a couple of "Aloha"s. Krystal & her girls went in first, Nat & Summer followed. They noticed they had the shuttle bus all to themselves. As soon as the driver hit the road, Krystal's girls started singing & asking the driver question after question. He was patient & kind & answered as many questions as he could. Kacey would not stop staring at the bus driver & Deja noticed.

Deja: Kace, you know it's rude to stare at people... stop that or else I'm telling mom.
Kacey: But he looks so familiar.
Deja: Kacey, we've never been to Hawaii before so there's a big chance we've never met this guy before. Kacey: Ok, fine!
Deja: Um, excuse me sir.
Driver: Yes, little lady?
Deja: How long is the drive to the base?
Driver: It'll be about 30 minutes.
Deja & Kacey: 30 minutes?!
Krystal: Girls... shhh...

The driver started to laugh & then played some island music on his radio. He started to sing & the girls sang along. This kept them occupied & happy the entire trip.

Krystal: So what are y'all's plans when we get there?
Summer: Yeah, Nat. What are you gonna do first?
Nat: Well, I'm gonna do George first.

Krystal & Summer giggle.

Nat: And then George said he signed us up for a snorkeling class, hiking & shopping. Ooh & the beach!
Krystal: Hmmm, the beach is calling my name. If you ladies need me, that's where you'll find me for sure. With a bottle of merlot in my hand...
Summer: Well, you deserve it, sweetie.
Krystal: Trust me, I know I do. How about you, honey?
Summer: I really just can't wait to see my man. We're probably never gonna leave the beach house.
Nat: Beach house? So jealous! Oh & she's right about not leaving the beach house... I was there when she packed & let's just say... Jay is never gonna let you out of his sight with all the cute outfits you brought.
Krystal: Outfits? Girl, if I had your body, me & my man would be naked all day everyday.
Summer: Ok, ok, ladies... calm down.
Nat: You know you're excited!
Summer: I am!

About 20-some minutes of chatting, laughing & singing, the driver anointed that they were almost there. Summer peered through her window & saw the uniform looking buildings, more palm trees & the base gate. She could feel her heart racing. She was so excited, they all were.

Driver: We're here, ladies. Welcome to Kaneohe military base.

Krystal's girls cheered & clapped for the driver. Nat primped his hair, Summer applied lipgloss & both noticed Krystal was still sitting down.

Nat: K, everyone alright?
Krystal: I guess everything's just hitting me. And... looking at the girls... There was supposed to be 5 of us.

Nat & Summer look at each other.

Summer: Hey, hey... It's ok to miss Nevaeh.
Krystal: I do miss her... I think the hardest thing for me is that she never got to meet her daddy.
Nat: Sum, why don't you get the bags with the girls. I got this.
Summer: Ok. Hey K, I love you.

Summer kissed Krystal's head & walked off of the bus helping the driver collect their bags. Deja was holding Diamond & Kacey found a palm tree to run around.

Deja: Is mama ok?

Summer crouched down to Deja & Diamond's level, flashed a smile towards the girls, looked back at the bus & reassured Deja that Krystal would be fine.

Deja: Hey, isn't that Uncle Jay & daddy? Daddy?!
Kacey: Daddy? Daddy!

Deja, Diamond & Kacey ran towards Devon. Devon ran towards his girls with open arms and a wide grin.  Summer slowly stood up from her crouching position. She saw Jay in the distance. She started to run & then Jay started to run to meet her. As soon as they met, Jay picked Summer up, spun her & kissed her. She wrapped her arms around his neck & kissed him.

Summer: Hey baby...
Jay: I can't believe you're here. I feel like I'm dreaming.

Jay put her back down & couldn't stop glancing over at her as they walked hand in hand towards the bus. He was all smiles. Devon had Diamond on his shoulders & was holding hands with Kacey & Deja.

Devon: Hey! Where's my woman at?!

Krystal was in the bus wiping her tears & Nat had just finished touching up her makeup. Krystal smiled & popped her head out of the bus.

Krystal: D!

Devon placed Diamond down & left the girls & he ran to kiss Krystal.

Devon: Give me some sugar, baby...

Krystal & Devon share a passionate kiss. The driver smiled as he closed up the under storage compartment. Devon & Krystal's girls gathered by the bags all covering their eyes. Nat walked off of the bus & saw George in the distance. He immediately lost his composure & started running.

Nat: Georgie!!!
George: Natty Bear!!!

They share a hug & kiss.

George: Let's get out of here...
Nat: What'd you have in mind?
George: I got a few things planned.
Nat: Can't wait. Bye bitches!

They walked off to George's car. Nat waved bye to Summer & Krystal. Krystal & Devon were still kissing. The bus driver waved & drove off.

Jay: Damn, get a room, guys!

Jay couldn't keep his hands & eyes off of Summer. He would not let go of her. And she didn't mind at all.

Devon: Hey how about you girls go with Auntie Summer & Uncle Jay for a couple days?
Krystal: We will pay you...

Girls laugh.

Jay: I love you girls, but uh... your auntie Summer & I have a lot of catching up to do. A lot...
Deja: Ok, I'm gonna pretend like I don't know what that means. Come on, Kace.
Kacey: I know who he reminded me of!
Deja: Who's "he"?
Kacey: The driver!
Deja: Ok, who does he remind you of?
Kacey: Maui from Moana!
Deja: Oh!

Kacey followed Deja & Diamond to their parents. Everyone soon went their own way. Devon had housing available for he & his family on base. While Jay & Summer headed to their romantic beach house.
