Part 1: New Year

**There will be some time jumps and flashbacks**

The first and second-year exchange program is a success, and year 3 is underway with some familiar faces and some new.

She was beautiful. Her eyes shone like diamonds, her long hair blowing with the gentle breeze coming from the open doors of the ballroom. Her voice was mellifluous. She sang a delicate ballad that took the guests' breath away.

Barbatos was serving Diavolo when the alluring sound of her voice reached his ears. He almost missed the wine glass he was trying to fill, losing his composure and nearly spilling red wine onto Diavolo's new suit jacket when he saw her.

He broke free of his trance quickly and came back into reality, cursing under his breath. Diavolo noticed his slip up and tried to hide his amusement. It was rare that Barbatos was caught off guard like that. He had always kept such composure and poise, but Diavolo liked to see this side of him. He liked to see Barbatos have some sort of emotion, some sort of something. He wasn't perfect, after all.

It was the first day of the new school year at RAD. Diavolo had graduated and was going to become king very soon. He was still as much a part of RAD as the year prior and welcomed the new students. He decided to throw a big party at his castle for everyone to kick off the new school year with a bang! This year he decided to invite some familiar faces from the previous year, including Solomon, Simeon, and Luke. He also decided to extend the program to other new students as well. One of which, included another angel from the Celestial Realm named Elaina, who just so happened to be a younger cousin of the seven demon brothers.

FLASHBACK TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: ELAINA

Elaina was breathtakingly beautiful. When they lived in the Celestial Realm, Asmo was the most beautiful of all, until Elaina was born. Although he was jealous, he couldn't help but love the little girl and ended up becoming extremely close to her before his fall. He taught her so much growing up. He taught her how to do her hair and how to take care of her skin and even how to flirt. He loved to braid her long, chocolate brown hair and paint her nails. They would talk for hours about things that went on in their life.

She had Lucifer wrapped around her little finger. He always watched out for her. No one would dare mess with her or he would be on the defensive. He treated her more like a sibling than a cousin. Whenever she scraped her knee or got upset he would always be there, giving her love and encouraging her. He taught her how to be strong and independent. She was a princess in the Celestial Realm and he was the one who would teach her the proper things she had to learn to carry such a title. He taught her how to carry herself and how to be proud.

NEW EXCHANGE STUDENT

Elaina begged her father, Michael, to let her go to Devildom for the exchange program. She convinced him that it would be a great opportunity to embrace the exchange program Diavolo had set up. Bringing up Simeon and Luke's thorough report of their time there and how they seemed to have nothing but good things to say. Luke even made friends..... That was a miracle in itself. Her father finally agreed, as long as Simeon and Luke promised to keep a close watch on her at all times. She couldn't help but dance around the room when Michael left, grabbing Luke and Simeon and whirling them around with her. Simeon was her closest friend and enjoyed seeing her happy. He knew the real reason she wanted to go. Not for the experience but to see her cousins. She missed them so much! She missed all six. Mammon: her battle partner, Levi: her gaming buddy, Beel & Belphie: her favorite cuddle bugs, and of course Asmo and Luci. She was also excited to meet her newest cousin Satan!

Elaina ran off to her room to pack a few essentials as Simeon made the final arrangements with Michael and Diavolo. "Simeon, I want you to keep an eye on Elaina." Michael sighed. "She has grown so much but still has a lot to learn. She will be meeting with her cousins for the first time since their fall. I know she is excited but they are not the same as they used to be. I do not want to see my daughter caught up in their troubles". Simeon nodded in agreement. He knew that the six brothers were different but he also saw much of their old selves since a kind human in last year's exchange program brought them all together as a family. Still, who was he to dispute with Michael? Elaina was finally ready to go! With Simeon and Luke by her side, they made their way over to the portal that would carry them off to Devildom. A new experience. A new adventure. A new start. The chance to finally see her cousins she missed so much!

"WELCOME TO THE DEVILDO-" *Lucifer gasps*
