It was a stressful few days for Simeon as he went to the Celestial Realm. He had the nerve-racking task of reporting the news of Elaina finding her soulmate in Devildom to none other than Michael. Not only was he his superior, but he was also Elaina's father.
Simeon was tasked to keep Elaina safe and to make sure she didn't get into any trouble. He hadn't expected her to fall for Barbatos of all beings. Besides the obvious of being a demon, he also had a reputation. He was something much darker. Only certain beings knew the truth about Barbatos and his other duties. It was to be kept a secret though rumors did surface.
Simeon was finally face to face with Michael. "Simeon, what is bothering you?" Michael asked sternly. The young angel filled Michael in on the situation. As Simeon explained everything Michael's expression grew more grave, Simeon decided to leave the demon's name out of the story for fear of being smited on the spot, but even so, by the end of the briefing, he was glaring daggers at Simeon, clearly enraged. "I knew it was a mistake sending her there!! Who is the demon? I would like to know! Simeon..." Simeon refused to look at Michael keeping his head down and mumbling. "Simeon! Speak clearly! Who...is...he?" Michael commanded. "Barbatos!!!" Simeon cried out.
Michael's rage flared again and his eyes grew wide. "Simeon! It's time I pay a visit to Devildom. It's been a long time since I had visited and it's long overdue." Michael declared cooly. Simeon nodded frantically and rushed to make arrangements. He warned Lucifer and Diavolo about the angel's arrival. Michael was about to step through the portal to Devildom for the first time in over 1,000 years.
