Part 2: The Cousins

This was it. Finally, A new experience. A new adventure. A new start. The chance to finally see her cousins she missed so much!

"WELCOME TO DEVILDO-"
*Lucifer gasps*

So many emotions ran through Lucifer's mind at that moment. Shock, confusion, surprise, joy, fear, and... anger? Lucifer glared at Diavolo... if looks could kill... Diavolo saw it out of the corner of his eye but his smile never waived from the beautiful angel in front of them "M".

'He just had to finish didn't he?' Lucifer sighed.

Elaina smiled back at the giant in front of her. She had heard of Lord Diavolo from Simeon and Luke. He was just as handsome as she imagined.

Her eyes quickly landed on Lucifer and her other cousins, who all looked confused "What is going on? Elaina?? Is that really you?" Asmo spoke first. "You've grown so much! Why are you here?" He asked sweetly. "Didn't Diavolo fill you in? I'm here for the exchange program! I'll be spending the year here with you!"

So Diavolo planned this without telling me... Lucifer thought. He's in so much trouble.

The brothers all looked at Diavolo, who finally broke his smile. "Yes, well after much discussion Michael and I decided it would be good for the princess of the Celestial Realm. Give her some experience." He stated matter of factly.

"So Michael sent his youngest daughter here? With us? Interesting" everyone's gaze fell on Belphie as he spoke.

"I've missed you too Belphie... Are you not happy to see me?" Elaina looked at her cousins with a disappointed look on her face. It was silent for a moment. "Of course we are!" It was Beel that spoke up this time, practically vaulting over the table stretched in front of them to embrace his little cousin. 'My favorite cuddle bug she thought as he lifted her into the air, making her laugh. She missed him and his warm hugs.

Her other cousins started to join in, even Lucifer. Satan was the only one still sitting in his chair confused. She looked over at the tall blonde and extended her hand in his direction. Beckoning him to come to her. His brows furrowed even more in confusion, pointing to himself. She smiled warmly at him and he couldn't help but go to her. "You're Satan, right? I'm Elaina, your cousin. I'm so glad to meet you" Satan blushed slightly as she hugged him tightly. It was a strange feeling but he could feel the warmth coming off of her. He could feel the love she felt for him even though they had just met. He felt like he's known her his entire life. It was... Comforting?

"So.....?" Elaina asked Simeon, excitedly. He was told she would be staying with the brothers and he was going to be staying at Purgatory Hall again this year. He had objected telling Luci that he was told to stay with Elaina to keep her out of trouble (their trouble), but was quickly silenced and assured she would be safest with them instead. Simeon looked at Elaina's pleading eyes, sighed, and gave in. How could he not? "Fine" he finally agreed. 'Such a softy' she knew how to work him. Sometimes she felt bad about it, but not today! "Great! Well, I'll see you around then! I promise to behave and not to get into any trouble!" Simeon just smiled and waved at her as he went back to his dorm.

'Did I really just disobey direct orders from Michael...? Yup, for her and her happiness. That's important...'

Elaina roamed the halls of the dorm, exploring. Trying to familiarize herself with her new home. She heard familiar voices from down the hall and decided to go in that direction to the common area. "I can't believe she's here! How exciting! Ugh... I've missed my little flower so much!" It was Asmo. Of course. They had been so close. She missed him too. Their talks, their spa days, his voice. She remembered simpler times when he would sing her lullabies before bedtime. "I can't believe it either... It's... Suspicious" 'Oh belphie, always so cautious.' She held back a chuckle as she heard a WHOMP and Belphie groaning "Oi, shuddup!" Mammon exclaimed as he threw a pillow at his brother. "Be happy! It's Elaina. She's the sweetest! Was a pretty awesome fighter too, if I do say so myself" He added proudly as he rocked his chair back and put his feet up on the table in a cocky manner

"Well, what can I say? I had a pretty great teacher" Elaina exclaimed. Spooking Mammon and making his chair fall out from under him. "OH! SORRY!" she ran over to him, laughing, helping him to his feet. "You okay?" "Yeah, yeah" he giggled "I'm good. Don't worry bout it". He dusted himself off and stood tall, smiling at her. Once she made sure Mammon was alright she turned to Belphie.

"Belphie... Why are you so upset with me being here?"

Belphie looked at her in shock and instantly felt bad "I'm not upset, I just... Don't understand why Michael would send YOU. He already has Luke and Simeon spying around for him."

"I'm not here to spy Belphie!" Elaina groaned "I just... I wanted to see you all again. My father wouldn't allow it, but then Diavolo put this whole exchange program together and I saw it as my chance. He wouldn't let me come last year. He wasn't sure it was safe but when Simeon and Luke returned and gave their report, I asked him again. It took forever to convince him but he finally gave in." She explained

"To come to see us?" Levi asked

"Well no, actually I'm not supposed to really have much to do with you..." She explained with a guilty look on her face. "Simeon is supposed to be keeping me with him, but with a little help from Luci, I convinced Simeon to let me stay here with you. I'm supposed to be here solely to learn about the other realms. To become more well rounded." She scoffed.

"You haven't even been here for a full day and you already break the rules? tsk tsk" Satan snickered.

"🎶That's our little flower, always getting into trouble 🎶" Asmo beamed.

"Beautiful" Satan added with a wide grin.
