Epilogue

Barbatos:

Well, this seems to be the end of our story. Elaina and I could not be happier to have shared it with you, however painful it was to get to where we are today. After the war with King Zebediah, things got better for us. Shall I wrap this all up for you?

Diavolo had become King of Devildom. He planned on having his official coronation after the clean-up of Devildom. However, Aurelia had other plans. After he had saved her, she took a strange turn. She seemed to have some... issues... including a multi-personality disorder. I guess I would too if I had three separate races in my blood. She once described it as like having a little devil and a little angel on your shoulders trying to tell you what to do, like in the cartoons, except they were in her head and constantly at war with each other.

She had tried to assassinate King Diavolo twice, but only a few seconds later and she was on the ground screaming bloody murder because she couldn't control herself. She would cry if she squashed a bug, and then try to rip off his head the next second. Diavolo was a patient man. He knew she didn't mean any of it. He was like that with me as well. I remember being the same way. As you all know by now, after reading this story, I was feral and that was exactly how I acted toward the beginning. Just like with me, he was able to help her through it. He was able to teach her how to become one with her three sides, along with some help from Solomon, Lucifer, and Elaina. She became stronger from it. She became the best queen Devildom had ever seen. She was fearless, determined, affectionate, serene, and a decision-maker. Even Diavolo looked at her for help and advice often. She definitely did a 180. She and Diavolo still have a very deep and strong relationship to this day built on trust, love, and understanding.

She bore King Diavolo, two wonderful children, Odessa, (our princess) who seemed to take on most of her mother's traits and Azure, (our prince) a spitting image of King Diavolo. They grew up in the palace with Wendy and Hazel to play with. Never had there been so many children in the palace at once. We were all one big family and it brought us great joy to be able to spend time with each other and share in our experiences.

We too had a surprise a few years later, after Wendy and Hazel had grown up a little. We were expecting, again. We were all very worried, except Elaina of course, who even after going through what she did with Hazel, was ecstatic to have another child. Lucky for us, little Atticus Sterling did not give her any problems while she carried him nor during the birth. He was a perfect little angel, quite literally. He looked like Michael with his tan skin and his wavy white hair. Later, in his toddler years, we had discovered that he not only had wings but he also had a tail. It was quite a surprise. Usually, demons only had one or the other but the wings were from his celestial side while his tail was from his demon side. It was slick like mine but white in color, matching his hair and wings.

Wendy became a model for Majolish, much to my disapproval! However, with uncles like Mammon and Asmodeus plus a mother like Elaina telling her to reach her dreams, there was nothing I could do. She has my genes, of course, which makes her a beautiful specimen, if I do say so myself but it was jarring at first to see her on the cover of a magazine. Elaina always made sure she didn't expose herself and they kept things tasteful. She was more of a commercial model rather than high fashion, which helps put me at ease a little. Hazel graduated top of her class as Valedictorian and was also Student Body President her senior year of high school. She is an extremely bright child. She will join her sister at RAD in the fall and I will hope that she keeps up with her studies and will continue to challenge herself going forward. Little Atticus will start his second year of Elementary School this year. He's a little food critic, always coming around and critiquing my dishes before they go out for consumption. He likes to cook and bake with me on the weekends and it makes me very happy that I still have him since the girls are growing up.

Elaina's sister Rosaline and our dear friend Simeon got married in the Celestial Realm soon after the war. It was the first time in over 3,000 years that multiple demons were invited to the Celestial Realm. It was a joyous and prosperous occasion, joining the realms closer together. Simeon and Rosie visit often and love spending time with their nieces and nephew. They are thinking of having a little one themselves soon. Solomon and Caroleen went back to their little secluded cottage in the countryside of France. They have been out of touch for a while, but I imagine they are doing fine raising their children that they were able to hide so well from all of the others. Asmodeus and I were the only ones who even knew Solomon had kids. He wanted to keep it that way, he didn't want them sucked into any of his shenanigans.

Finally, the brothers; they were all doing well. Most of them had found their special someone whether human, demon, or in Levi's case a gorgeous siren. Beel has twins on the way with another exchange student named Shannon and now that Aurelia was queen, rules had changed and Shannon would be able to be by Beel's side forever along with their children. Lucifer started dating a nurse at Atticus's school, he met her when he had to pick him up after he called home sick and we couldn't get him. Mammon is still single but it doesn't bug him too much, his one true love was still Goldie. Levi had rescued a siren from the underwater city and he now lives with her there, ruling the seas again.

Satan is seeing a waitress at Devildom's only cat cafe. She is basically the female version of him, she loves cats and books. Asmodeus has pretty much become a rarer sight in Devildom nowadays. His new "toy" as he called her was a performer in the human realm, but I had a feeling she would end up down here soon enough. Not that she was a bad person, but I had a feeling their relationship was becoming more serious than he led on and things were about to change. That just leaves Belphie. He is too busy trying to help Beel out with Shannon but once they get everything together, I'm sure he will find someone to settle down with.

We all still meet up on Wednesday to have dinner at the palace and talk about our lives. We will always have each other to talk to and "hang out" with but we are starting different journeys with our own families. Lucifer, Diavolo, and I will always have our bonds and that will never go away; however, I did miss the others as they started to move off on their own so that I cannot see them regularly. Although I have my powers back, I will never look into the future again unless directed by King Diavolo. I like living for the day and I have my beautiful wife and my loving children to thank for that. I can't believe I am where I am today and it was all because of a young, immature angel that wouldn't give up on an old, prude demon like myself.
