Demon Child

It had been a few months since Elaina had given birth to Hazel and things had been... Difficult. Yes, raising a demon child proved to have its challenges, as you may have guessed, but Elaina and Barbatos seem to have an...okay... handle on things.

"Good Lord, child! Why won't you just eat!?" Barbatos shouted as he dodged the baby food they had started Hazel on recently. She was throwing a temper tantrum, a big one. Pureed baby food was flying everywhere! At this point, she had thrown her bowl off of the highchair three times, broken two spoons, and wasted a whole jar of baby food. She was screaming her little head off, and Barbatos was starting to get more than a little frustrated.

Over the months Hazel did grow a tail and little horns, identical to her father's, but slightly lighter in shade than his. Along with the horns and tail, came the attitude as well. She was much fussier than Wendy had been and now she was teething... That was a nightmare. She was growing little fangs and biting everyone.

"ELAINAAAA!!!!" Barbatos yelled as he tried for the hundredth time to get Hazel to eat something, and failed. "What is it? Won't eat?" Elaina asked as she entered the kitchen holding a very sleepy Wendy. "No, she won't! She's driving me crazy. Can you calm her down, please?" Elaina had a very soothing effect on Hazel for some strange reason. She didn't fuss half as much with her as she did Barbatos. "Sure, let me see what I can do. Uh... Darling, you've got a little..." Elaina pointed at Barbatos's collar where there was a bit of baby food on the shirt as well as his neck. "Ugh!! Here, give me Wendy. I'll put her down for a nap while I change." Barbatos griped as he wiped off his shirt. "Yeah, I think that would be best," Elaina said as she held back a laugh. "Baby girl, your mama is a true saint for dealing with the two of you so easily," Barbatos commented as he took Wendy to their bedroom.
