Ae Ri's POV

I watched as Y/n left the dining room. Hongjoong scoffed as he too stood up and left for his room, barely touching his food. "I'll go talk to him, I'm so sorry." I picked up both our plates and brought them up to his room. "Oppa, can I come in?" A small "yeah" was heard and the door opened. "Oppa, I think you should apologize to Y/n-ssi. You shouldn't have said those things to her, it definitely affected her a lot and it shows that she doesn't want the situation to be so bad too. Go talk to her, I can come with you if you'd like. Eat up for now, you need it." I pushed the plate to him as we ate peacefully in his room.

We headed down to Y/n's training room but just as we were about to knock the door, Mingi came into the living room while screaming. "Mingi, what's wrong? Why are you screaming like a girl?" "Hyung, I'm a grown man! But that's not important now. Yeosang found out that SKZ has been working with GOT7, wanting to bring in illegal drugs and weapons. If we could get evidence about it, we can stop them and maybe even break them!" Hongjoong instructed for everyone to meet in the living room to discuss about a plan on how we are going to do so.

Mingi and Yeosang gave everyone more details about their findings once everyone gathered. We all listened attentively, brains working at full capacity to process and hopefully come up with a plan. "...they will be meeting at the JYP club tomorrow evening and they seemed to have all the transactions and data stored in an USB drive." They finished. "Hmmm, how about we sneak in, knock them out and steal it?" "Yeah sure San, if only it was as easy as that. They'd recognize us the moment they see us, you dumbass." Everyone was quiet as Yeosang shut down San's idea.

"Actually, it could work. We can send someone they've never seen before." They all turned to look at me, even Y/n. "Me, I can go. They've never seen me nor heard of me, so they won't even suspect me!" "No! Ae Ri, that's too dangerous and you can't fight. We can't be there to protect you too, what if you get into trouble?" Hongjoong said, his eyes and voice filled with worry. Everyone fell back into deep thoughts.

"I will go with her." Y/n spoke up. This time, everyone looked at her in shock. "They don't know me too, and I'm sure I can protect us better than any of you could." "Hey, do you really have to make us feel inferior? Although, sadly, you make sense." San whined, slightly offended but couldn't deny the fact that Y/n was indeed more capable than we all knew, especially after she saved us all.

"Y/n...will you really go with her? And protect her?" Hongjoong spoke, finally looking at her. "Why? Do you not trust me? Are you scared I would her leave her to fend for herself? If so, you don't have to worry. If this can really bring down SKZ, I'm willing to protect her with my life." Hongjoong's expression softened as he heard her words. "Y/n, you know that's not what I meant. I just wanted to make sure. Don't speak like I don't care about you, please?" Y/n raised her brow at him, "Are you apologizing now?" She answered with a slight smirk, teasing the leader. "Yes, I am. I'm sorry for my words, okay? Am I forgiven?" Hongjoong gave her a soft smile, walking over to give her a hug.

The boys and I can't help but smile at the sight, the tension was finally over. But now we have to worry about whether our plan for tomorrow was going to work. "We don't have much time but Y/n, could you assist us with training Ae Ri? We want her to know how to protect herself at least." Yeah, I could use some training. "Sure, go get changed and meet me in the basement."

She's not as scary as I thought, just a little cold...except when she's angry or serious.
