Fast forward to 2 weeks later...
Wooyoung's POV
11:48am
Every minute, every second of the past two weeks had been a torture to me as time passed so slowly but yet it flew by so quickly. My baby girl how are you? Everyone was getting anxious as we were still not progressing much.
We were all gathered in Y/n's room this time, yet again trying to think of something. I turned my head to my left, meeting eyes with a photo frame, with a rather newly printed photo, that stood alone on Y/n's side table; a photo of us. Y/n and I, both smiling happily at the camera; it was a rare moment of her smiling so brightly.
Flashback
"Woo! Stop!" Y/n shouted as I tickled her, laughing at her expressions as she squirmed under me. "Say please and I might consider." I said as I continued, no intention of stopping at all as her laugh was too rare, too precious. "Please please please! Youngieee, stop!" She pleaded as more giggles escaped from her lips. "Hmmm, fine! BUT! You have to promise me one thing." I smiled at her and stopped, laying my hands on her waist and pulling her to sit up on my lap.
"Okay." She let out cutely, trying to catch her breath. "I want you to promise that you will love me for life, that you won't leave me and that you will always be safe." Gazing into her eyes, I said sincerely as I hugged her waist tighter against me. "Woo, that's erm three things?" Y/n said, slightly confused but also amused.
"Let's make it four then! I also want you to keep smiling like you are now and oh, you are mine. Mine yesterday, mine today, mine tomorrow and mine forever." I laughed as I cupped her cheeks, squishing them playfully as she nodded, "Of course, my angel."
Her words were slightly muffled because I was still pushing her cheeks lightly, making her lips pout. I placed a soft kiss on her lips before mumbling a "Good girl" to her. "Oh! Let's take a picture together!" I exclaimed excitedly, pulling my phone out from my back pocket. "Smileeee!"
End of flashback
I had unknowingly let out a sigh, still staring at the picture. I was so engrossed in my own thoughts that I didn't even hear Ae Ri's phone ring until she came running into the room. "Guys! My parents are back!" She announced when she finally got everyone's attention.
"YES! Now we have hope!" Yunho jumped, a smile finally appearing across his tired face. "Did they say anything?" I asked, a gleam of hope in my voice. "They want me to go home for dinner later this evening." She answered while still avoiding my glance. "We better start planning quick then!" Yunho clapped his hands and grabbed a new piece of paper and a pen, ready to write things down.
"That's what we can do for now then. Let's run through the plan again." Hongjoong hyung said as Yunho put down his pen. "Okay so,
1. Ae Ri goes home and have dinner with her family.
2. Ask parents for warehouse's address.
3. Make sure everyone is occupied and then check the basement to see if Y/n is there.
4. Start planning properly after that.
There! Easy as that." Yunho said proudly as he read what he had written down. "Ae Ri, will you be alright alone? Do you want me to come along?" Hongjoong hyung asked Ae Ri softly. "I will be fine, he can't do anything to me when my parents are home." Ae Ri assured before leaving to prepare for the dinner. "We should continue thinking though while Ae Ri prepares." Yeosang suggests.
Ae Ri's POV
I started spacing out as I combed my hair. "Ri? Ri! What are you thinking of? You're fine, aren't you?" Hongjoong oppa smiled at me as he took the comb from me, combing my hair for me instead. "Yeah, I am." I smiled back at him, leaning into his touch as his free hand rubbed my tense shoulder. We chatted for a while, waiting for time to pass before I go back...home.
