Y/n was just an ordinary teenage girl, with loving parents and no worries but her life took a turn and she lost everything she treasured. Ateez, one of the strongest gangs in Seoul, influential and feared.
What will happen when Y/n reunites with Ate...
What a tiring day. I can't wait to go back home, to Y/n. I smiled at the thought of seeing her, still not believing that she's mine. Well, almost mine. "So, Wooyoung. When are you and Y/n gonna be an official couple?" San asked as all their heads snapped towards me, eyes curious. "Soon, hopefully. To be honest, I'm nervous about it yet I can't wait for it to happen too." I admitted, my best friends smiled at me encouragingly and it made me feel warm inside as I too broke into a smile.
"We're back." Jongho announced quietly as he noticed the two sleeping figures in the living room. My face immediately lit up into a smile, seeing Y/n's curled up figure on the couch. I scooped her into my arms gently, careful not to wake her up as Hongjoong hyung did the same with Ae Ri and we brought them into their respective rooms.
I laid her down slowly and tucked her in, brushing her hair away from her peaceful face, another smile tugging on my lips. She always makes me smile, makes me happy even without doing anything. God, I love her so much I think I'm going crazy. "Sweet dreams, baby girl." I whispered, taking a glance at her one last time before I exited her room.
Y/n's POV
How did I end up in my room? "Sweet dreams, baby girl." I faintly heard a familiar voice whisper. I tried to recall, and the nickname gave it away. I opened my door, the same time the one opposite mine opened. "Good afternoon, baby girl. Slept well?" Wooyoung's face immediately lit up as his eyes detected me. "Yeah, thanks to someone for carrying me to my room." I said with a subtle smirk to tease him as I leant against the frame of my room door.
"So, where's my reward? I deserve one, don't I? I carried you up even though I was tired, all because I wanted you to have a good sleep. I'm awesome, aren't I? Now, come here." He blabbered on as he closed his eyes and pouted his lips at me, but I just walked around him and headed down to the dining room.
"Morning, Y/n." Yeosang greeted with a bright smile. He was about to greet the kid who was running behind me but decided against it as Wooyoung was screaming so loudly Yeosang got annoyed, his graceful features morphing into a frown at the noise. "Y/nnnnn, how could you leave me hanging like that? Am I not cute enough?" He whined before breaking into his famous aegyo, annoying Yeosang even further and making Seonghwa cringe at the sight as he walked into the dining room with San.
I mouthed a "help me" to Seonghwa as he tried pulling Wooyoung away from me while telling him to "shut up" and "stop being a disgusting kid". However, it got worse as Wooyoung changed his target from me to him, swinging the man's arm and asking "I'm cute right, hyung? Yes or yes? Hehe it's a yes, right?", but all he got was a flick on the forehead and a glare from his victim, making him back off immediately and sitting down quietly. "Good, do it again and no lunch for you." Angry Seonghwa is a scary Seonghwa, thank god Wooyoung stopped before he exploded.
Soon, it was evening and we were all curled up in the living room with blankets draped on us, be it on the floor or on the couch. The boys have decided not to open Destiny for business today as it was raining heavily and they were "too lazy and the weather's too good for that." That was how we ended up watching movie after movie together.
I laid my head against Wooyoung's warm chest as he wrapped his arms around me, leaning his head on mine. A small smile played on my lips as Hongjoong and Ae Ri mirrored our actions, snuggling up to each other under a blanket. Three movies in, everyone was becoming sleepy as Yunho, Mingi and San had already dozed off while leaning against the couch and the other couple had also fallen asleep together. I too, was about to fall asleep too, finding comfort in Wooyoung's embrace and how he stroked my hair.
That was until I heard small sounds coming from outside, making me uneasy as the sleepiness faded away. "What's wrong, my dear girl?" Wooyoung asked me, his hand never stopped brushing my hair. I shook my head slightly, giving him a small smile. It's nothing Y/n, probably just the rain or wind. I tried turning my focus back to the screen but failing as a heard a small thud from the open window at the back of the living room.
"I'm gonna go close the window, Woo." I told him as he nodded drowsily, uncoiling his arms that were around me. I stood up and walked slowly towards the open window, observing the outside where silence had filled again. It was about 10 steps away from window when something flew past my head, landing right into the wall behind me.
