Armin ran away from me, frightened...

I wasn't going to hurt him. I just wanted to help.

"Where's he going?" Jean mumbled with a grunt, looking back to see the blond merge into the crowd.

I watched the blond in awe, feeling my heart start to cry out in anger. "I was just going to try and help..." I muttered.

"You weren't offering that the last time he was beaten." Jean reminded me, causing me to look at him in shock. "You think he's scared of me now..?"

"I think you should stop being a little bitch and just talk to him finally." Jean bluntly grunted as I went to finally help him stand up. "I'll get the funnel cake. You go find your boyfriend." Jean ordered as he started to walk away nonchalantly like he wasn't in any pain. Weird thing is that I didn't even bother to say 'he's not my boyfriend.' I just accepted what he said and went our separate ways.

"Is that was I really want, though..? He seems to hate me just like I imagined..."

After a bit of looking around and more people thinned out during the late hour, I saw the clifftop Armin and I always hung out at. There were only a couple people there. Most of who seemed to be leaving. All except one.

I walked a little taller as I started to approach the grassy cliff top, going a bit slower to spy on a blond head of hair I determined to be Armin.

I stood in place for a moment and took a huge breath, eyes woefully looking at the bent over blond. His camera was opened on his phone, crying into his hands.

"This is probably going to be a shit show."

Quietly, I cleared my throat and walked around the bench, taking a seat beside the blond with a couple inches of space in between us. The bench softly creaked in reaction to my weight.

I gripped on to my thighs and looked down at the blond who slowly looked over, jumping when he saw me. He even tried to scoot away, holding his breath. But the arm rest stopped him from going any further.

He looks so banged up...

"Hey, hold on." I stretched my arm to the right, trying to tell the blond that everything was okay. But he kept leaning back. "Armin, I'm not going to hurt you! I never was." I urged, hesitantly recoiling my arm.

The blond sighed heavily and started to sniffle, wiping his face with a pout in reaction to my words.

I rested my hand back into my lap. "Look, I'm sorry... I—"

"Sorry?!" The blond snapped, immediately cutting me off, sitting up a bit more as he furrowed his brows. Disbelief and hurt plagued his ocean eyes. "You... You stop talking to me and pretend like I don't even exist for three weeks and then now you just magically show up to help me out of a fight and hunt me down after I ran away from you to say that you're sorry?!"

My breath wavered, my lips parting in awe as the blond looked at me with such anger that I've never seen before. My chest actually physically hurts... "Yes, I know—"
