Winter of 7th Grade

Eren didn't show up to school today. Yesterday, Eren's father killed himself. Carla was the one to find him. Eren was absolutely furious.
He wasn't sad at all. Not one bit. I tried to visit him after school. Mikasa was the one who answered the door. I could hear him and Carla screaming at each other bloody murder. It was horrifying. And poor Mikasa, who was in tears said this whole scripted message to me, practically yelling over the screaming. It was something like "I'm sorry Armin but you can't come in right now. Everything's okay." And just like that, she closed the door. When I got home, I tried texting them all but neither responded.
As I'm writing this, the police are outside the Jaeger's again. This time for a noise complaint. The description being that our neighbors heard them scream-fighting each other and were worried if I got tangled up in that mess because I was previously seen outside their door today. I know all this because the police came to check up on me.
It was Sasha Braun's family who called the police.
