I was back at home with my fluffy onesie on and a hot chocolate. I was still shook from earlier but I had a smile on my face as I traced the numbers on my arm with my finger.

I had texted Jake earlier and our interaction went like this :

Um.. I maybe looked up ur file....

I started prepping for the date, showering, doing my hair, choosing an outfit and adding a touch of makeup

Just as I added a thin layer of lipgloss I heard a knock on my door.
Grinning, I flung it open to reveal the most beautiful man alive holding a flower and smiling ear to ear

He curtseyed, "your majesty..." in a posh voice that made me giggle. As I laughed a accidentally snorted which made Jakes face lit up.

"Is that your laugh!?"
"Um..."
"Okay your officially my future wife". even though he was joking I felt myself melt

He took my hand and stood by me while I locked up the apartment before we started our journey to the restaurant.

JAKES   POV

I sat across from y/n as we chatted and laughed all night. Every moment I couldn't believe how much I liked her and yet I seemed to fall for her harder every second.
She was no doubt the most beautiful girl I had ever seen but she also had such a bright personality that made everything feel better.

I found out so much about her and for once I was interested in learning
Learning about her.

She even tried to pay for the food but that was not gonna happen... well I kinda forgot my wallet so she did BUT I PayPal'd her back at the end of the night.
As we walked out after our meal I wanted to scream to the whole of New York I was on a date with her.

It was so crazy to me how a guy could be this perfect.

We went back to his as it was closer but decided to not take it to far on our first date,
Instead of boinking we curled up on his sofa together as he made me watch his favourite movie: Die Hard

We sat so close we could've been glued and his arms were wrapped around me protectively
The credits started rolling when I looked at my phone and saw it was 1am
I groaned thinking about walking home at this time, but decided it would only get worse the later I left it

I gave Jake a quick hug and started getting my shoes on

"Y/n where are you going you dummy ?"

"Home, have to go some time." I groaned

"But do you have to tonight ?" He came  up behind me as I grabbed my coat and wrapped his arms around me, resting his head on my shoulder.

I melted into him before turning into his embrace, " I have no pjs or anything though"

"It's ok I'll find something. please stay"

"Okie" I laughed and looked into his face

He leaned forward and pressed his lips into mine gently, kissing me. I kissed him back, running my hands around his neck as his found my waist.

It was bliss

I gently pulled away for air and we stood with our forehead together, our hot breath on each other's face

"Wow" Jake said as I blushed

He gently took my hand and led me back to the couch, "wait here"

I sat on the comfy leather smiling about how I had completely fallen for Jake

Oof... still quite long but it's getting somewhere now. Hopefully you enjoyed :)
