(Luke 4:8 KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
(Revelation 15:4 KJV) Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
(John 4:24 KJV) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. ____________________________________
COMMENTARY
God is deserving of our worship, He made us to worship Him. As the Bible teaches us that we should only worship the Lord, our God. Let us cast aside all idols, praying in the Holy Spirit always for victory over the sins that so easily besets us. Our God is a merciful and gracious God that pardons iniquities. Let us worship Him because of all that He continues to do for us in this world.
