(Psalms 139:23-24 KJV) Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
(Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
(Romans 8:27 KJV) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
(1 John 3:20 KJV) For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

COMMENTARY
God wants us to open our hearts to receive and accept Him as Lord and Saviour of our lives. Even if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and will forgive us of all our sins. God knows what is within our hearts so we do not need to pretend with Him.
