What Does the Bible Teaches About Heaven?

(Psalms 11:4 KJV) The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

(Nehemiah 9:6 KJV) Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

(Isaiah 65:17 KJV) For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

(Psalms 19:1 KJV) (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

(Acts 7:49 KJV) Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

COMMENTARY

Heaven is a real place, it is the dwelling place of our God and His holy angels. The Bible gives clear descriptions about heaven and the activities that are happening there. Jesus is blotting out all our confessed sins, and the sealing of God's people is taking place. There are mansions in heaven, thrones, temples, the tree of life, etc. Heaven is where God wants us to be.
