arenadofam Okay so we got confirmation that Lex and Mike are engaged... Where's confirmation that Hayls and Jonah are married????
↪️
giantsfamilies I WANNA KNOW THE SAME THING!

"Stop sulking," Lex rolled her eyes at Haylee.

"I am not sulking," Haylee folded her arms as she sat down on the couch.

"Yes you are."

"Okay sorry I miss my baby daddy! I miss his face!" Haylee glared at her best friend.

"Oh my god, just FaceTime him then!"

"That doesn't take care of me missing his cuddles," she rolled her eyes.

Lex grabbed a pillow and screamed into it, "you're driving me crazy!" She whacked Haylee in the face.

"What the actual fuck, Alexia?!" Haylee yelled.

"Jonah's not gonna have a house to come home to at this rate!"

"You'd really murder me and the baby?" Haylee raised an eyebrow.

"At this point, potentially!"

"Fine! Let's talk about something else. The Warriors are playing in Denver next week, and Alison said you can fly with us," Haylee huffed.

"Really?"

"Yeah, but I can't get you court side tickets since it's the Pepsi Center. You gotta talk to Tikey about that."

"You can't call in a favour? You basically grew up with that company," Lex's nose crinkled.

"I mean I could, but I feel bad."

"That's fair. I'll talk to Tikey. Feeling better? Steph said you were really sick trying to do interviews."

"Sorta. I still have a bad headache," Haylee rubbed her temples, "so thanks for that."

"How was it travelling?"

"Pretty rough. I might have to move to doing away games in the studio sooner than I wanted to, but Jonah and I aren't announcing that we're expecting for a while."

"And moving to the studio for home games would raise questions," Alexia nodded.

"Exactly. We want to do this on our own terms. And the name change was a great distractor for a while but this is gonna get hard to hide," Haylee pointes to her rapidly growing stomach.

"Yeah especially since you wear form fitting dresses for games," Lex bit her lip.

"And I need to go shopping for new clothes. I'm starting to outgrow everything. This baby is big."

"Well you're with a gorilla so that had to be expected," Lex snorted.

"Shut up. Will you go shopping with me tomorrow before the game?" Haylee rolled her eyes.

"Of course," Lex smiled.

"Thank you! Well, I'm going to call Jonah."

"Alright. I'll talk to Mike about a ticket for next week," she gave Haylee a hug.

Haylee Hughes her back before walking up the stairs to the bedroom. Nova and Leo followed her while Nala stayed curled up in Lex's lap. Haylee laid down before the dogs jumped up and joined her. Leo laid his head on her stomach like he always did while Nova curled up along her legs. She pressed call on Jonah's name.

"Hi, love!" Jonah answered with a grin, "how are you feeling?"

"I've been better. I was sick for a good part of the day," she shrugged, "how are you?"

"I'm so sorry. I'm good. Tired. And I miss you," he rolled over on his side in the hotel bed.

"I miss you too," Haylee sighed, "this is hard."

"I know. But it's us. We'll make it work."

"I know we will," she smiled, "how's your shoulder feeling?"

"It feels fine! I'm grateful. I missed playing," Jonah grinned.

"I know you did. I'm really happy for you!"

"Thank you. What are you doing tomorrow before the game?"

"Lex and I are going shopping. I'm outgrowing my clothes so fast. This baby is growing quickly. So thanks for that."

"You're welcome," he laughed.

"If this morning sickness which has turned into always sick doesn't resolve itself soon, I might have to switch to being in the studio for away games sooner than I planned on," she sighed, "which is kinda a dead tell about me being pregnant."

"Don't worry about it. Just worry about you and feeling better," Jonah gave her a soft smile.

"It's on my mind," Haylee shrugged.

"Well it shouldn't. But I know you, and you're gonna obsess over it. I think people are still wondering about the name change and where your ring is, so I think we're fine."

"I guess so."

"Get some sleep, Haylee," Jonah suggested.

"I miss sleeping with you."

"God I do too, but it's only three more weeks."

"That's too long," she pouted knowing he couldn't resist her puppy eyes.

"Don't look at me like that!"

"Like what?" Haylee faked innocence.

"I'm hanging up," he rolled his eyes, "I love you. And our baby."

"We love you too. Talk to you in the morning."

"Bye!"
