shelby and lex looked at each other as a brunette emerged out of nowhere. her hands instantly wrapping around mike and trae. their eyes narrowing, her friendliness rubbing the two woman who sat together in the couch together, "who is that?" shelby asked, trying to keep her voice down as lex watched as she suddenly was stuck like glue next to mike who engaged in a conversation with the three people- trae, isaiah wilson and the unknown brunette.
mike was so unaware of the analyzing state of his fiancé who wanted nothing more than wipe that stupid love struck smile and twinkly eyes that she gave her man, "i don't know." lex finally answered, "but if she gets closer to my very oblivious man, world war three will be fought tonight." lex spoke, annoyance laced through her voice.
"babe!" shelby finally yelled, taking the cue that whatever that woman was trying to wasn't something the two of them were about to have. trae young looked at his girlfriend who motioned with her hands to come over, making the others look over, "come closer." shelby smiled, wanting nothing more than to be a psychotic girlfriend like she wanted to but was keeping composure for the sake of the night not to be ruined but by the looks of her friend next to her, she was going to explode at any given moment.
mike finally made eye contact with lex whos green eyes were fuming as she sat with her arms and legs crossed, "suz this is my fiancé lex. lex this is a friend from high school suz." he smiled, as he came and wrapped his arms around lex, leaving a soothing kiss on the side of her temple, "and you remember jigg." mike motioned for the man lex had met multiple times before shooting him a friendly smile, completely ignoring the woman.
"pleasure!" suz gritted out, forcing a smile on her face.
"likewise." lex spoke, giving her a tight smile as she leaned into mike who accepted the sudden affection lex was giving him. his chin on the top of her as he squeezed her exposed thigh lovingly, "baby, i'm getting a little cold." lex whispered to mike who looked down at her and brought her closer to him as she nuzzled herself impossibly close.
shelby snickered from the hold of her boyfriend who nudged her to be quiet, "shall we get going?" he asked, making everyone nod as mike held his hand out for lex to accept.
"mikey!" suz whined making lex roll her eyes at her voice and that stupid nickname, "do you remember when we dated and you took me to this...."
lex blocked out the remaining of the sentence as she let go of mike to pull out her phone to text haylee because she could quite literally feel her blood boil.
