"what does one get someone that can buy your whole life?" lex asked as she had various tabs open on her laptop watching as haylee swayed her feet in the water. it was just them at home. mike and jonah had gone off to who knew where and millie was off with cousy and meg getting the food for them to eat.

haylee looked at her from her brimmed sunglasses, "a baby." she smirked, "no one give him a baby but you." she continued as she felt the stare from her friend.

"maybe not this birthday." lex rolled her eyes as she looked at haylee shrug once more, "no baby porter being made anytime yet."

haylee pouted. she always thought that lex and her would eventually be pregnant at the same time. it would be like every other best friends, but lex was refusing to make it come true, "it's the best thing anyone's come up with." haylee spoke again, "you, you are the present."

"that isn't even up to debate." lex winked making her sister in law shake her head with a bemused smile on her lips, "but that's a bedroom present, i need a physical present."

they both stayed quiet. lex needed to come up with an idea asap. his birthday was coming up soon and with that the small family get together at haylee's home before mike and lex took off to
the bahamas. there wasn't anything she could get him that he couldn't get himself, "i need your plug." lex spoke as soon as she heard the other line answer.

"you know, people usually say hello or greet someone else." dlo taunted as he answered the phone, "which one? the jewelry dude?"

"yes." lex spoke as haylee watched with curious eyes, "i want to get mike some new studs and maybe a new chain for his birthday."

"oh!" dlo cried over the phone, "you ballin out for his birthday, little miss cuban! i see you! bet, bet, i'll give him a call later today and we can go, i need a clean up on one of my chains too."

"thanks dirty dick!" lex smirked.

"you're welcome fatass."

"does he really have stds?" haylee questioned as she watched lex hang up.

lex shrugged. dangelo might have been one of the biggest players she had ever met, but he wasn't stupid, "honestly," lex began, "no, he might sleep around but he's not stupid and definitely not gonna risk getting some one night stand pregnant and then having to claim her. he's dumb but he's not a complete idiot."

"imagine him as a father." haylee snorted.
