Haylee smiled as she and Jonah walked down to the family room with Liam and Camryn. They had done very well for their first game. Haylee swooned as Liam grabbed his blanket and tugged it closer.
"Gosh I can't believe they're already almost a month old. It doesn't feel like it's been a month," she ran her fingers through her hair.
"I know what you mean. It feels like they've been here forever," Jonah nodded kissing her forehead.
They usually didn't have a security escort when walking through the stadium, but Jonah wasn't taking any chances now. He had a family to protect. He didn't want any excited drunk fans to become a danger to his babies and wife. They made it down to the halls easily.
"Hayls, Jo!" Milene grinned as they walked in.
She jumped up with Genevieve, Liz, and Alexis. They all rushed over and hugged them before turning their attention to the twins.
"Oh they are so precious," Genevieve swooned, "how is it being parents to twins? I can't even imagine."
"It's crazy, but we've been taking it a day at a time. It feels weird to think about our lives before them," Jonah wrapped his arm around Haylee's shoulders and kissed her forehead.
"I love it. It's exhausting, but I wouldn't trade it for anything."
"Liam is such a big boy. he's gonna be a great baseball player," Alexis said while she cuddled him.
"Daddy's size and mama's attitude," Haylee laughed.
"Camryn is the exact opposite. She is so calm. Mama's size and daddy's attitude," Jonah laughed.
"Oh please. You getting fired up quickly," Haylee laughed.
"So you're going back to work in November?" Amanda asked.
"Yes. My first away game without the babies is actually in Atlanta, so I'll stick around a little longer to see Dillon and Paige," Haylee nodded.
"Are you going to travel with them?" Eryn asked.
"I'm going to try to. We'll see how it goes," Haylee laughed.
"Ambitious," Allie smirked at her.
"Haylee likes a challenge," Sharidan laughed, "how did Liam and Camryn do during the game?"
"They were great!" Jonah grinned, "we fed and changed them. They were awake for part of it, and then slept the rest of the time."
"Angels," Haylee agreed.
"Are the dogs protective?" Alexis asked.
"Oh yeah. Leo sleeps in their room right between their cribs. Nova and Nala sleep outside the door in between our bedrooms. They're so gentle with them. It couldn't be more perfect," Haylee gushed.
"It's so good to see you both!" Breanna hugged them.
"You as well! We'll definitely be at more games since I've has decided to come back to home games," Jonah grinned, "I'll do away games for post-season."
"Aw that's perfect!" Rachel grinned.
