Back to School

"Alright, who's ready for our last year at Hogwarts ever?" Sirius yelled as he stepped off the train. Hailey rolled her eyes.

"I don't really think I am. It seems kind of weird to know this is our last year."

Remus sighed.

"Well you can't exactly stop time. We might as well enjoy it."

"I know, it's just really strange."

James nodded.

"I know, it is weird. But at least we have each other. We'll still be friends after we graduate. I promise."

Hailey raised an eyebrow.

"I hope you and I will be more than just friends."

Remus laughed.

"To be honest, I think if you guys broke up, you wouldn't be friends again. You're both too stubborn. You'd either never talk again or end up back together within a week."

Sirius nodded.

"Yeah, you two couldn't handle a breakup."

"I trust your opinion on this one, Sirius. You've broken up with people more times than I can remember." Hailey laughed.

Sirius shrugged.

"Sometimes it needs to be done."

Remus rolled his eyes.

"I think you just used it as an opportunity to get out of relationships with people you were only physically attracted to."

James coughed.

"Well, now that we've got all that out of the way. You first, my lady." James helped Hailey onto the carriage. Hailey laughed.

"How very gentlemanly of you."

Remus gagged.

"You guys are disgusting."

Hailey stuck her tongue out.

"You're just jealous that Sirius didn't help you onto the carriage."

Sirius shrugged and offered his hand to Remus, who took it, getting on the carriage.

"See, now we're all even." Hailey said. Remus rolled his eyes.

"Slytherin." Sirius said quietly.

"No way, Ravenclaw." James argued.

"SLYTHERIN!" The sorting hat yelled. Sirius smirked triumphantly.

"That's my cousin."

James groaned.

"That's cheating! You have secret connections!"

Sirius shrugged.

"What about this one?"

Hailey looked at them.

"Hufflepuff."

Lily nodded.

"For sure."

"I think Gryffindor."

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

James sighed, but perked up when he saw the next first year.

"This one's a Ravenclaw, I'm sure of it."

Hailey and Lily nodded.

"RAVENCLAW!"

The group clapped politely, James looking incredibly proud of himself.
