Alas-seis ng umaga ay gising na ako. I didn't see Isagani after I woke up on my bed. I checked my phone and he texted me.

Mangingisda ko:

Breakfast sa seaside.

I immediately washed my face and changed my clothes. Naka-shorts lang ako at simpleng sando dala ang aking phone at wallet.

Actually. I shouldn't have brought zu my wallet since sa amin din ang seaside restaurant, but of course in case of emergency.

Bumaba ako ng hotel, maraming bumabati kaya nginingitian ko na lang. Pagbaba ko ay marami akong nadatnan na mga guest sa lobby, maybe some of them are checking in and some are checking out.

Lumabas ako at dumiretso sa seaside resto at agad kong nakita si Isagani sa isang mesa. He's wearing a board shorts and a simple sando. He removed his shades when he saw me coming and genuinely smiled.

"How's your sleep? Mukhang may ka-away kagabi ah" Aniya at tumawa. I rolled my eyes at tyaka umupo. He meant na magulo ako matulog.

Dumating na ang order namin at nagsimula na kaming kumain, "Later, sasamahan kita sa contest as I promised" Aniya at tumango lang ako, wala naman akong maisip na maisagot sa kanya.

"Provided na nila ang mga gamit sa pagluluto, you all have to do is to cook Pininyahang manok" He explained. Well I know why he registered me here, he knows how good I'm in cooking that, that's his favorite dish since childhood.

I actually almost took Culinary but I know that I'm better in accounting than cooking. My parents handled the karinderya of my auntie back in time, and sometimes I was the one who cooks the dishes, kaya sanay ako. Madalas din  akong sumali sa mga cooking contest before I went to New York.

I changed my clothes again. This time pang-alis naman, I'm now wearing a simple baby pink dress. I informed my parents that I'm having a cooking contest later, they said that they will come.

Buti naman at mukhang free sila. Papa is always here at the resort to see if there's any problems, and sometimes sinasama niya ako sa mga meetings.

They are starting to train me since I'm the one who'll take over the resort someday. Okay na rin ang paunti-unti nang sa gayon ay hindi ako ma-pressure katulad ni Pearl.

Nauna si Isagani sa sasakyan dahil makupad ako kumilos. Nang makarating ako sa kanyang wrangler ay nadatnan ko siyang nakasandal dito.

Pinagbuksan niya ako ng pintuan at agad akong pumasok, umikot siya sa harap at pumasok sa driver seat. I checked my phone dahil nag-vibrate ito.

Mama:

Nandito kami kina Nay Trinidad.

Text ni Mama. I told Isagani na sa bahay na ni lola Trinity dumiretso.

Nag-park siya sa harap ng bahay at bumaba na ako, I didn't wait him to open the door for me, gosh we're friends. I looked up at the second floor, nakita ko sila sa butas ng mga ventanillas na nag-uusap sa salas.

Umakyat na kamiz. I saw my parents sitting in the wooden chairs and having a conversation with lola Trinity na nasa kanyang rocking chair at tumatawa.

"O, nariyan na pala sila" Ani lola namg makita kaming paakyat sa hagdan. Sinalubong ako ni Mama at niyakap.

She's wearing a simple white polo shirt and jeans, si papa naman ay nakaupo at pinagmasdan lang kami ni Isagani habang sumisimsim ng kape.
