It’s almost 5pm nang makarating sila ng bahay ni Gerald. Asusual tulog pa din si Joy at si Cobbe, Gerald temporarily parked the car in front of the house main door.
Tiningnan ni Gerald si Joy, iniisip niyang gisingin na ito pero hindi niya magawa dahil gustong gusto niya lang na pagmasdan ito habang natutulog.
He smiles while staring at her. “God! How can I be this happy by simply watching her sleep.. I’ve never felt this way before.” he whispered on his mind.
Gerald get his cellphone then he took a picture of Joy while sleeping. Gerald gently touched her face again, then he softly touched her lips then he smiled again upon remembering that he stole a kiss on her lips.
“I’m officially your first kiss, though you still doesn’t know about it.” he smlingly whispered.
He was tempted to kiss her again but his mind stopped him. “Don’t be a kiss stealer again Gerald! Its too much! Kapag nalaman niya to, yari ka!” he said on his mind.
Because its Sunday, Gerald knew that Jalal was not around. So he decided to get the toys they bought and put it inside the house before he wake her up.
Papasok na sana siya ng pinto nang marinig niya na binuksan ni Joy ang kotse at bumaba itong karga si Cobbe.
“Babe just wait for me inside the car, papasok ko lang 'to sa loob then babalikan kita dyan, ako na ang magbubuhat kay Cobbe.” Gerald said.
Kunot noo siyang tiningnan ni Joy, Gerald just smiled at her coz he knows about that look, it is because he kept on calling her babe.
“Its ok, ako na magbubuhat kay Cobbe papasok sa loob..” mahinang sabi ni Joy para hindi magising si Cobbe..
Wala nang nagawa si Gerald dahil lumakad na din si Joy papunta sa pinto. Inilapag ni Gerald ang isang plastic na dala para buksan ang pinto. Nauna siyang pumasok at naabutan niya ang kapatid sa sala.
“Hey bro! Finally you’re here! Where have you been? Where is Cobbe?” Ken said habang nilalapitan siya nito.
When Joy stepped in, Ken was shocked because he saw her carrying Cobbe.
“Joy?!!” Ken blurted out.
Tumango si Joy at binati naman siya. “Hi sir Ken!”
Nagtataka pa din si Ken, alam niyang namasyal ang mag-ama pero hindi niya alam kung bakit kasama ng mga ito si Joy.
“Bro! What is your EA doing here? And you let her carry Cobbe? C’mon bro, don’t tell me na inutusan mo siyang maging yaya ni Cobbe!!?” kunot noong tanong ni Ken.
Mahinang napatawa si Joy sa nadinig niya. Nakita naman ito ni Ken kaya nagsalita siya ulit.
“So what bro? Tama ba ko? Don’t say yes, kundi masasapak kita for being too hard on your EA!” nakangiti pero umiiling na nasabi ni Ken.
“Hell! No!!! Why the hell you think that I will do that to her?!” sagot ni Gerald.
Ken crossed his arms on his chest then ask Gerald again. “So! What is she doing here at karga karga niya pa si Cobbe..”
Nilingon naman ni Gerald si Joy at inalalang baka nahihirapan na ito sa pagkarga kay Cobbe kaya binitiwan na niya ang mga dala at nilapitan si Joy para kuhanin si Cobbe.
“I’ll explain it to you later Ken!” sagot ni Gerald habang kinukuha si Cobbe.
Gerald gently placed Cobbe’s head on his shoulder then he carried his son using his one arm then faced Ken. “Eh ikaw naman bro! What brought you here?”
