"Ma. When will you come back?"
The question that I always ask
Before she leaves our house to do her task.

"Not sure anak."
She answered while her voice cracked.
A smile still formed on her lips
Even though her eyes are already in tears.

She hugged me so tight
As if this will be her last fight.

" You're brave but please don't get sick"
I uttered while my tears rolled unto my cheeks.

She stared at me with an encouraging smile
And patted my head as she said that everything will be alright.

" Don't worry about me."
The last thing she said before she left me,
With my heart being heavy.

I fixed my glance on her,
Praying that she will get back sooner.

I hope that their strength and PPE
Will be enough to defeat the unseen enemy.

Yes. In this battle,
My mom is a frontliner.

I don't know but there's something inside me that urged to wrote this even though I'm not pro in writing poems and not that good in grammar lol. But my heart is really weeping whenever I hear news that some of our frontliners were already defeated by this unseen enemy of ours.

Indeed, all of them are brave enough to sacrifice themselves even though they also have families that they are leaving behind. They truly deserve the salutes and not discrimination. Let us continue to pray for these mighty heroes to give them strength and good health together with their families. Do our parts by staying at home and pray without ceasing y'all.
