"Month of June is about to come."

I advanced by steps as I fixed my gaze through the slightly opened glass window. The leaves of narra tree in front of our apartment was continuously rustling because of the rushing wind outside. I kept my eyes focus above the sullen skies that anytime soon, ready to release its crystal clear cries.

I still recalled how we first met. I was standing under the shed while both of my arms were stretched outside to catch the drops of rain that were falling unstoppably. "Fond of rain huh." Your cold voice reminded me of the blowing breeze of stormy weather. As I turned my head to face you, my smile grew wider. You easily caught my attention because of your fine eyebrows that looks like a long arched raindrop as well with your oozing black hair that was quite drenched from water.

"U-Uhm. Yeah. It just makes me calm and makes me delighted." That was the first interaction that we had. During that time, I silently wished that the rain won't stop from pouring because I want you to be in my presence for a longer time.

" This is your dream date right?" The clouds are gloomy as it's releasing it's cries again when we celebrated our first monthsary. I was dumbfounded when you removed my blindfold. Except from the pleasing sound brought by raindrops, my heartbeat that was racing so fast was the only thing that I echoed in my ears.

You managed to set a round table that was full of rose petals and a frame with 'Happy Monthsary Love' calligraphy in the middle of this kind of weather just to surprised me and made this happened. "Y-Yes love. But my dream became greater because I'm with the man that I love more than how I love the rain. And it's you Francis. You are more wonderful than my dreams." That day was the most memorable thing that happened in my life.

I still always picture ourselves being together through thick and thin Francis. Your smile that brightens my day everytime I acted like a raging thunder in storms. The warm peaceful feeling of your cuddles when we started to feel the cold in every downpour. Even the smell of petrichor when we're sipping a hot coffee on your condo's balcony still lingers in my nose whenever I'm filled with our memories.

We were once puzzle pieces that fit together. And I think I won't be able to find the missing piece that will complete me again.

The sunlight was beaming so bright through my room's window but it was unexpectedly raining cats and dogs. Being immersed with that often kind of weather, I took the chance to go outside and savor the crystal droplets that continuously caressing my whole face as if it's giving me countless pecks. I don't want to be lost in that rain alone. I want to cherish that moment being with you. " Love. The weather is pretty fantastic today. Samahan mo ko." I excitedly uttered on the other line as called your number that time.

" Love!" Even though I've been hearing that endearment every minute, I still can't help to feel those butterflies in my stomach. I hurriedly turned my glace to where your cold voice came from. And then there you are, wearing your signature smile that was sweeter than the sweetest chocolate though you are soaked with heavy rain. Napakasarap mo talagang pagmasdan Francis. Bukod sa ulan, ikaw lang ang gugustuhin kong makita at makasama araw araw.

Nakatutok lang ang mata natin sa isa't isa habang papunta ka sa kung nasaan ako. I felt like everything was in slowmo not until a loud deafening beep from somewhere enclosed the street. And the last thing I knew, you were already lying on the cold and wet pavement covered with blood.

My whole world stopped upon seeing you Francis. Excruciating feeling engulfed my whole system. I can't do anything but just to held you with my arms firmly though my body was shivering. I delicately brushed my hands against your face while tears from the above as well with mine are rolling down unto you. Your heavy gasps from the air was enough to know that you're in severe pain yet you still managed to smile for one last time as if you're saying that you're alright and I don't need to shed my tears. "Love! P-please. 'Wag mo naman akong i-iwan oh" I begged you while my voice are drowned in a deep sorrow but it was too late. It was too late when I saw how you slowly closed your eyes.
