"Babe, ang ganda ng bagong ultrasound ng baby natin, 'no?" Louise was so elated about the ultrasound of the baby.

I nodded at her and smiled weakly. Hindi ko magawang maging masaya ngayon. Kahit na magkakaanak na kami ni Louise ay parang hindi ko pa rin kayang tanggapin ang lahat ng nangyari.

And the worst case is that her OB is in the hospital Margaux is working on. What if I see her in the building? It would be so hard for me to see her away from me.

Ilang araw na akong wala sa sarili. Simula noong sinabi niyang iwan ko na sila ni Shawn ay parang nawalan na rin ako ng ganang mabuhay. I love her. I love our son. I wanted to give her a complete family. My son deserves that. But right now, I think it's one of the most impossible things in the world.

"Dr. Marbel!" I heard Margaux's surname and I turned to where the voice is coming.

And there I saw her—the woman that I love—standing in a pristine white coat while her back is turned on me.

"Babe, I'm craving for some burrito. Can we get some before we go home?" Louise sweetly asked.

I smiled at her and nodded. "Sure. Let's get some burrito for you and the baby." I replied.

She smiled widely and hugged me tight. Just when I was about to hug her back, I saw Deonna looking at us with narrowed eyes.

Mabilis akong umismid at napakalas sa yakap. Shit! What if she tells Margaux about this? I can't have her hating me more. Damn! I feel like I'm cheating on Margaux!

I looked at Louise and told her to go back to the car first because I need to check on something. At first, she was reluctant pero hindi nagtagal ay pumayag rin. I watched her walk inside the elevator to the basement before going to Deonna.

She pursed her lips when she saw me walking towards her. "Anong kailangan mo, Mr. Guevarra?" Matigas na tanong niya.

I sighed. "Deonna, please. I just need to know if Margaux is fine." I'm already so desperate. Whenever I call Shawn ay hindi man lang ako kinakausap ng Mommy niya. Well, it's not like I am expecting her to but it pains me to not know anything about her for days. Mahal na mahal ko iyon.

Deonna raised her brow. "Ayos naman siya." Tipid niyang sagot.

"I saw her a while ago. She looked thinner. Is she not eating well?" Tanong ko.

"She is not. There's a lot of things going on right now. You got someone else pregnant when she has fallen in love with you over again. Sa tingin mo ay hindi madedepress ang kaibigan ko?" Masungit na tanong niya.
