Chapter 60

City Lights

Kylie's.

Late na kami nakarating ni Mitchie dito sa venue ng graduation ball namin dahil hinintay ko pa siya matapos sa pag-aayos. Dahil nga inuna muna ni Mitchie ayusan ang mga customers niya, natagalan bago siya nakapag-ayos ng sarili. At hinintay ko naman siya para sabay na kami pupunta sa event. Hindi rin naman agad magsisimula 'yon at tama nga ako dahil tinipon muna ang lahat sa loob ng venue. At mauuna ata ang dinner namin.

Hinatid kami ni Justin papunta sa venue at nagulat naman kaming dalawa ni Mitchie dahil bumaba rin siya. Nakasuot rin siya ng tuxedo kaya inayos niya ang coat niya.

"Pinayagan ako ni Mama umattend sa graduation ball niyo." 

Mitchie's eyes widened at ayun dumikit na siya agad kay Justin. I chuckled and followed them inside. Naka-ball gown ang halos lahat at peach off-shoulder ang color ng ball gown ko. Kay Mitchie ay purple ball gown at tube dress ito.

I love every details of our ball gown.  

I roamed my sight around the venue at kinawayan ako nila Shanley and Cassey para makita ko agad sila. I waved back and went near them. They're all so elegant too with their ball gowns. White ball gown and off-shoulder din ang ball gown ni Cassey and her hair is in twirl. She also wore a contact lense. Si Shanley naman ay naka-light violet ball gown and her hair is in a bun.

While mine is also in a loose ponytail and it is also curled. Mitchie's hair is tied in half while it is also curled.

I hugged them both and we all chuckled. "How are you guys doing here?" 

Katulad ni Justin, pinayagan din ni Tita Minerva na umattend si Shanley and Cassey ng graduation ball namin dahil bukas na ang flight nila pabalik sa Australia. Gagraduate din kasi sila doon at nabalitaan ko na mauuna ang graduation namin kaya pinangako ko sa kanila na sasama ako kay Mommy pabalik ng Australia after graduation day para makaattend din ako sa graduation nila.

"We're enjoying here so far," sagot ni Shanley nang may pag-ngiti.

Labis talaga ang tuwa ko nang makita ko sila nung birthday ko. Doon ko tuloy sila pinatulog sa kwarto ko at nagkasya kaming tatlo sa kama. 

At tuwang-tuwa naman si Cassey sa pagbisita dito dahil first time niya sa Pilipinas. Kaya kahapon tinour ko sila dito sa lugar namin kasama si Mommy.

I glanced at their table and silang dalawa lang ang nakaupo dito. I called Mitchie and Justin and motioned them to sit with us. Katabi ko si Shanley sa kanan at si Mitchie naman sa kaliwa. I already introduced them to each other on my birthday at nakakatuwa dahil naging close kaagad ni Mitchie si Shanley and Cassey. Kwinento ko rin kay Mitchie ang mga naging karanasan ko sa Australia kasama sila. Mitchie also praised Shanley for having a beautiful voice dahil napanood niya pala ang performance namin nung Halloween. 

While we're talking eh biglang lumapit sa lamesa namin ang waiter at naghatid ng dinner. Beef steak and fish fillet ang nasa plato. May dessert pa na leche flan. Magsisimula na sana akong kumain nang may humalik sa pisngi ko. 

I turned to see who it was. 

"Ace!" I exlaimed. "Bakit ngayon ka lang?" tumayo na ko at hinarap siya.

He chuckled. "Kanina pa kami nila Janelle dito. We were at the backstage, preparing everything." 

Napasimangot naman ako dahil mukhang hindi ko siya masiyadong makakasama ngayon. He noticed my pout so he pulled me closer to him and hugged me.
