The Promise We Did

Chapter 12

"I'm positive if you keep up your training like this , it won't take long for it to end" said Sensei.

"I'm trying my best" i said with enthusiasm, Just one more lap to go, I muttered to myself on the last lap of running up and down the mountain. Lucario was running alongside to me aswell. Me and Lucario kind off went through the same training while Pikachu Charizard and Greninja went through similar ones. It was hard to me and Lucario as I had to train alongside my pokemon after my own and Lucario had to train like me as well after he trains with others.

Anyway, we were now used to it and my team was just really strong. I wish i could've trained this hard before dude, could've even won a league except Alolan one.

After running for a while , the last lap came to an end. Sensei came out of the shadows and stood in front of me. "Well done" he said.

"Thank....... you..... Sensei" i replied catching my breath.

"Well , now it's time for you to learn one of the most hard aura move. Aura blast" he said.

"What is that?" i asked out of my curiosity. 

"You'll see, also before we begin i'm gonna warn you. Use this move only for self defense and only when needed, even better if you never use it at all" he said. 

My curiosity kept on rising with each sentence , until i finally saw what it is when Sensei demonstrated it. It looked like an Aura sphere just like Lucario but instead of Lucario using it , Sensei did!

"So are you ready?" he asked.

I nodded and proceeded to follow him in an open ground.

"Alright, i want you to get in sync with Lucario but not with all of your powers" he said. I nodded and got in complete sync with Lucario but limited my power so he won't mega evolve. I closed my eyes and was now seeing the surroundings through aura. 

"Now. Focus on your wrists and try forming an orb"  i heard his voice. I did as instructed but nothing happened.

"Keep trying" he added.

I kept on trying to make a orb but it just won't happen. All this years and i can't focus on my own hands? Man..... but then the images of the destruction flashed right before my eyes. Serena SERENA SERENAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i screamed as i watched the tower fall right on her. Her eyes had defeat and tears all over in them. But somehow, this rage and determination that formed inside triggered something, And there it was, the orb in my hands. 

"Now Focus at a spot you wanna throw it at" i heard Sensei's voice. I did as instructed and focused on the rock right in front and threw it towards the rock. The sphere glew bright blue at least in my aura vision and hit the rock shredding it to pieces. I was at first quite intrigued to see it but then i realized , what if i hit someone by this? my eyes widened from the thought of it.

"I know exactly what you're thinking right now. And that's the exact reason i'm telling you to refrain using this as much as you can" Sensei said, sometimes it's really scary on how he ready my thoughts so easily.

"Yeah... i get it , I won't use it" i said , still taken a bit back from what i just did.

"Now do it again, and aim for that waterfall right there" he said.

I did as told to and fired the orb towards the waterfall, "Now focus on the water" he added as the aura sphere was on its way to hit the waterfall. I again nodded and started focusing on the water and to my surprise , the sphere hit the water but it didn't fade away. Infact it absorbed the water and became like a ball that i could hold in hands. Atleast what i thought seeing Pikachu picking it up and play with it. It was kinda weird as Pikachu wasn't able to use Aura and he shouldn't be able to pick it up. He threw the sphere towards Greninja who caught it and threw back at Pikachu. The two just started playing with it.

"When it comes in contact with water , it can be held by non aura wielders as well" said Sensei. I nodded finally understanding that.

After a few more hours of mastering it, I finally learnt the move. It was now feeling like a responsibility more than a ability as if it hit a human , it could possibly kill them and that's not even without my full power.

"Let's have a practice battle" i said looking at Greninja and Lucario.

"Sure Master" ; "Gren!" both the pokemon agreed and took either side of the field. 

Lucario did a backflip and landed on one side of the field while Greninja teleported himself to the opposite side.

"Lets go , Lucario aura sphere , Greninja Cut" i commanded and got in total sync with them. 

Through Greninja's vision i saw the sphere coming right at me, But Greninja cut it in half without receiving any damage from it. Now it was Greninja's turn.

"Use shadow ball" i said through sync.

Greninja obeyed and fired a shadow ball towards Lucario. 

"Lucario use bone rush to block it" i commanded through Aura. He obeyed as a glowing stick formed in his hands. He spun it rapidly making a shield like structure and using it to block the shadow ball.

"That should be enough for now, i don't want you two to get exhausted" i said. Both of them stopped and jumped back towards me as we started walking towards the hut again. It was already dawn but till the time we climbed back up , it was night. 

I returned Greninja in his pokeball and laid down to get some rest after this "scary" day.

It's been two years since iv'e been here. In the last two years iv'e learnt a lot. I hope this pays off...... I can't just stand and see them getting hurt. I just hope everyone else is doing just fine, I'm concerned about Mom though , well i'm sure Professor Oak is reporting my pokeballs opening and closing everyday to her so she at least should be having some relief.
