"That was quite some performance" i heard Dawn's voice. I looked to my right and there she was standing along with May.
"Thanks a lot Dawn, it probably wasn't anything compared to yours" i replied smiling.
"Nah, i feel like it was better than hers" May added.
"Yeah, i feel that too" said Dawn. I just smiled at the two before turning to my pokemon and petting them for their efforts.
"You both did a great job out today, take a rest" i said as i returned both of them back into their pokeball.
"By the way , who were you searching for out there" asked May with her teasing voice and evil eyes. Dawn mimic'd her actions aswell.
God... why do these two keep on teasing me. Should i just tell them who it is? nah maybe later.
"It was no-one" i said nonchalantly.
"Are you sure?" they both said creeping close to me making me look into the other direction.
"Yeahhh" i said still looking to the side, trying to hide my rosey cheeks.
"Performers , we will now announce the winners. Please report to the stage" came a fiery voice from the speaker nearby. I sighed in relief that atleast i was saved from telling them who it was that i was looking for.
"Let's talk about this later" said Dawn as she signaled us to walk with her. We nodded and followed her to the stage. All the 10 performers were standing in a line while the Mc stood in front with a envelope in his hand.
"I got the results right here, out of 10. Only 5 will be making their way onto the stage to become to next Kalos queen" he announced.
My heart just started beating faster and faster as he started to open up the envelope. He took out the paper inside of it and took a look at it.
"As expected... are you guys ready?" he asked. The audience cheered in acknowledgement.
"First we have , Serena!" he announced. At this point i swear i could do a back flip in the excitement, but i eagerly waited for other names.
"Following up we have Dawn!" he announced. I saw Dawn sighing in relief.
"Then we have May!" he announced again. May had a huge smile plastered all over her face.
"Then we have Lizzy followed up by Rose and Jade! Give it up for them and everyone else who performed here!" he said. Audience cheered up once more. We just headed back in to get changed and head back to pokemon center for today. Our flights to Kalos leave day after tomorrow so tomorrow is gonna be spent buying any souvenirs or shopping. Had to take a long nice rest today.
We got changed and started heading back to the pokemon center. As we were on our way, a boy just ran in front of us and looked straight at me. We three were a bit taken back from the guy but we waited for him to speak.
"Serena, i love you. Will you go out with me" he said sternly.
I don't even know who this guy is and he's asking me out? i can't think of anyone else but Ash right now anyway. My face didn't even had a blush even though it was first time i was being asked out.
"No , I'm sorry. There's someone else i love" i replied bowing down.
"YOU HAVE TO!" he screamed in anger.
Well now, this was getting out of hand. He's getting angry , but for what? cause i rejected him? this guy sure has some mental illness.
"Hey dude, just back off already. Our friend here told you her answer. Leave us alone" she said as she grabbed both of my and May's hand and leaded us away from him.
"Not so easily, go combusken" he shouted throwing his pokeball. The pokeball opened up , revealing a hen like flame pokemon.
"So you don't understand?" Dawn said with enthusiasm.
"Go Empoleon" she said tossing out her pokeball. "Use hydro pump" she commanded.
The Majestic penguin pokemon obeyed and fired a hydro cannon at Combusken who had little to no time to react, getting fainted in just one hit.
"I'll get you!!!" he screamed as he returned his Combusken back into his pokeball and ran off.
"What a douchebag" said May.
"Yeah , what weirdo" Added Dawn.
After walking for a while , we reached pokemon center not before stopping at a restaurant for dinner. Man the food was just that delicious.
I reached out in my room carefully placing the ribbon near my pillow and squeezing it for comfort yet again. I changed into my night wear and headed straight for the bed.
"One step closer to one of my dream"
"What's the other one?"
"Oh cm'on my own mind wants me to repeat it?"
"Yeah you bet it do!"
"It is Ash..........."
