The Promise We Did

Chapter 23

"SHOPPING!" said the girls in unison with pure Joy, while we just sweat dropped in horror on the shopping frenzy we're about to be dragged in.

"Eh... You guys don't include us right?" asked Gary.

"Of course we do dummy! who's gonna tell us how do we look when we try new clothes?" said Misty.

-Time skip

"How many more clothes guys? we're...we're tired" I said looking at the girls in front of us while holding atleast 20 bags of Serena and some of Bonnie's purchases.

"Just a few more" Serena said turning towards me and walking backward giving an wink before turning back again. Her smile was enough motivation for me to keep going but c'mon its too much bags to hold.

"Dude... we need to find a way to get out of here" said Gary.

"Yeah... I can't ....anymore......" said Clemont catching his breath in between words.

"I have an idea.... what if we try to escape when they take a little break?" said Brock.

"That's a good idea , but that's only gonna work IF THEY take a break...." said Gary.

"Master, this is harder than the training we did on Mt. Silver!" said Lucario also holding some of the bags.

"It sure is" I replied chuckling.

After half'n hour they finally got tired up and decided to take a little break. We sat around in Cafeteria with around 50-60 bags. We could've covered the whole cafeteria's floor with the bags if we placed em down next to each other. Clemont would've passed out if it wasn't for the break at the right time. In my last two years of training i wasn't this tired as i was today along with Lucario and Pikachu.

"So , we still have around 700 poke dollar worth of coupons. What should we hunt down next?" asked Serena looking at the girls.

"Maybe a Kimino? as the festival is coming soon" suggested May.

"Yeah , a Kimino would be nice for the festival" added Dawn.

We gulped in horror but Brock re assured us as he was about to set his plan ablaze.

"Yo Ash do u remember the shop we talked about?" Asked Brock winking giving me the signal.

"Oh yeah that one? What's with that?" I asked.

"I heard they're open!" he said with any fake enthusiasm he could gather.

"Let's go visit them , before they close off again" We said as We grabbed the bag and ran out of the Cafeteria and into the back of the mall towards the empty Battlefield.

"Phew" said Clemont wiping off sweat off his forehead.

"Brock you're a fucking genius" said Gary.

"Thank you, Sir" said Lucario.

"So now where do we keep these bags" I said looking around, my eyes gazed upon the stands as we rushed there and placed the bags up.

"You remember the challenge, don't you Ashy boi?" Asked Gary.

"Let's begin" i said running towards one end of the Battlefield as Gary ran towards the other side. Brock became the referee while Clemont took out his laptop to examine the battle.

"Let's do a one on one , i left my pokemon at Pokemon center" said Gary.

"Sure" i said looking at Lucario, who got the signal doing a front flip and jumping on the Battlefield sending out a burst of Aura ready to battle.

"Go Rhypherior" Gary shouted throwing the pokeball onto the field.

-With the girls

"Did they escape?" Asked Misty taking a mallet out.

"I guess so" said May looking around.

"Let's just buy this Kimino up to then we can find them" said Dawn.

"Yeah" said Serena as they marched towards the only store remaining in the mall.

After searching their favourite ones and picking them up to try them on they just tired the Kimino up. Serena wore her white and pink Kimino and came out wearing it to ask for opinions.

"It looks so cute on you!!!" Complimented Bonnie.

"It does?" Serena asked.

"Yeah, it really do!" Added Misty.

"I bet Ash will drool over you once he sees you in this" teased Dawn.

Serena blushed at the compliment and headed inside the room to get changed into her normal attire.

Once deeming that they have selected the best ones there the group headed out to find the boys.

"Now where can there be..." Said May.

"I guess we don't have to search for long" Dawn said pointing her finger towards the Battlefield where we saw smokes and blasts.

They headed towards the Battlefield to find their suspicion being correct, it was them.

"Rhypherior Stone edge".

"Lucario , finish this with aura Sphere"
"Rhypherior get out of ther-" i heard Gary say that before getting cut off by the explosion from the Aura Sphere upon hitting Rhypherior.

The smoke cleared up revealing an unconsious Rhypherior lying on the ground.

"Rhypherior is unable to battle, Lucario is the winner!" Announced Brock

"That was amazing, I gathered so much data from that Battle!!" Clemont added almost jumping front the Joy.

"That was quite a battle, Ashy boi" i saw Gary returning his Rhypherior and heading towards me.

"You heard him Lucario? You did great!" I said looking at the Aura Pokemon.

"Thank you Master" he said kneeling down.

"Pika!" Added Pikachu giving an thumbs up to Lucario.

"Yeah that was quite A BATTLE" I heard...
Misty? I turned around to see it and there they were. The girls with not so happy mood.

After a long long lecture and carrying their bags we finally made it back to Pokemon center. Now sitting in the Cafeteria eating dinner.

"So your next performance is tommorow?" I asked eating the food hooked to my fork..

"Yeah, it is tommorow!" said Serena smiling.

"We'll be there to cheer on you guys!" Said Brock.

"Yeah, he's right" added Gary.

"Thank you Gary!" Dawn replied looking at him.

After finishing the food we headed back in our room for the day and drifted into sleep straight away, guess we were too tired from lifting all the bags.
