Chapter 26

"never give up , until it's over"

The phrase repeated itself over and over in her mind as she walked towards the stage.

The curtains opened up revealing Serena wearing her pink gown and one of her most precious treasures, the blue ribbon. She looked at the crowd searching for a familiar face, her eyes gazed upon the group of familiar looking faces giving her a warm smile and then on the raven haired trainer with a Pikachu on his shoulder. His eyes only contained comfort and reassurance for Serena. Serena nodded and started her performance as soon as the music began.

Executing every step effortlessly along with Sylveon's fairy attacks making it look just breath taking on every step.

"Sylveon moon blast!" Serena instructed dancing and the fairy type took no delay in obeying her , firing an moon blast in air making a pink color'd atmosphere with glitters falling down around the stage making it look like a performance out of the heaven.

On the other hand Dawn and May were confused.

"I've seen Serena perform but not like this What the fuckkkk" said May looking at the screen in front of her.

"Yeah, it's like she has got this new flame ignited in her" added Dawn.

Aria was standing behind the two girls with a wide smile on her face.

"This is someone who is gonna compete against me for Kalos Queen. I better start practicing" Thought Aria.

On the other hand the group was just lost of the words. Shifting their eyes away from the stage even for one second will make them miss a important part of the performance. Brock on the other hand didn't had much interest in the performance and looked over at Ash who was smiling proudly and the smile was mimic'd by Pikachu and Lucario aswell.

After quite a while the music stopped but not before Sylveon fired a last glazling gleam and making it all go White for a second or two. When the light cleared out , Serena was bowing down in appreciation for the audience.

The stands were just silent for a while , everyone being in trance but was broken by Ash as he was the first one to stand up smiling and clapped hard breaking everyone out of their trance , as they soon all got up and started applauding for her. Serena composed herself and went back the curtains into the contestant's room.

"Serena!" she heard Dawn's voice as soon as she entered.

She looked to her right and saw Dawn and May with a wide smile plastered all over their faces.

"That was just awesome!" Said May.

"Yeah, we've never saw you perform like this before!" Dawn added.

"Aww.. thank you guys!" She replied smiling.

"Serena" she heard another familiar voice.

She turned aroud to see Aria standing there , the current Kalos queen.

"Aria! It's been a long time" she said as she hugged Aria. Aria returned the hug and said ,"yeah, it been quite a while" after a moment the two broke the Hug.

"That performance you did , it was phenomenal!" Aria said winking.

"Thanks a lot Aria!" Serena replied.

"I'm sure you three will be just too good in the Finals. I'm looking forward to it, make sure you guys practice hard cause I'm not going easy!" Aria said.

The three nodded as they saw Aria exit , they knew Aria had a tight schedule so she had to leave. Anyway the three changed into their normal clothes, there was supposed to be a winner today but as everyone was too good , they postponed it for the finals so the performer's spirit doesn't break for not winning in semi finals.

Once they've changed , they headed out to meet the group waiting for them with their camping bags in their hand.  Serena's eye fell on the one that made this performance possible and couldn't hold herself back.

-Ash's pov

I saw Serena with an warm smile on her face, man even though I'm quite a dense boy. That smile just melts me away. Wait is she running towards me? Emh???????

She Leapt at me hugging me tightly which I took no time to return, having her in my arms was just that important to me. I can't loose her, that's for sure. Maybe i should ask her... I guess on the day of that festival?

"Serena, you know. We're standing right here" Bonnie teased her up making my face get a bit of red but it was nothing compared to that of Serena's , a full on Tomato.

The group broke in laughter and started their Journey to Aquacorde Town.

-Team Rocket HQ

"Sir, the meteor crosses earth the closest day after tommorow, we've located the pond where Jirachi is resting but it will not be possible to capture it when it absorbs the energy from the comet"  said a Grunt looking at a man in suit sitting on his chair facing his back to them.

"Hm, what about Hoopa's prison bottle?" He asked.

"We've located that aswell, the plan is in action" said the Grunt.

"Nice job, dismissed" he said.

The Grunt exits the room as the automatic door closes behind him.

-The Group

"I guess we can camp here" said Brock inspecting the area around him, the open grass with a river nearby. It was perfect for camping.

"We'll get the wood" said Ash pointing at Lucario as they both beamed away in the forest to find some woods to burn.

Pikachu stayed back in the group and played with other Pokemon Who's dinner Brock served already, having it stored in his bag and not having to cook it.

Others just arranged the tents and waited for the dinner and the wait didn't last long as Ash soon returned with the sticks enough for bonfire and cooking.

After a delicious dinner and exchanging stories of their journey the group went in their respective tents to sleep for the night.

-Ash's pov

"The quest begins...."
"Hope you're ready chosen one"

The voice that comes in my head , it's so familiar but I ... I just can't remember who it is......but whoever it is, I'm ready for it.
