The Promise We Did

Chapter 28

It was finally the day of the festival everyone was waiting for. The comet passes near the earth sending out a beautiful trail behind it.
The clouds cleared up , one can easily make out the comet's tail even on such a sunny day, wondering what is it gonna look at night.

Ash on the other hand had no plans for the day and just slept up. Like really slept up. He went to sleep late last night after his encounter with Serena and the thunders and decided to skip the training for today.

-The group

"He's still sleeping?" Dawn asked with a surprised face.

"It's quite interesting how he's been sleeping since past 8 hours now. If I recall he didn't used to sleep more than 6 hours before" Brock added sipping his juice.

"I mean , we don't have anything to do today anyway except to visit the town in the festival tonight" May chimmed in shrugging.

"You're right" Clemont added.

"There's something I forgot to purchase before. Anyone wanna come along with me?" Misty asked looking at the group.

"I'm in" Serena said smiling.

"And so am I" Dawn cheered in aswell.

The three headed out to shop while the others found themselves engaged in activities such as battling which Clemont and Gary enjoyed thoroughly being analysed by Brock and May and notes being taken by Bonnie.

The whole day went out without anyone noticing the time , they did as they saw the sun starting to set in , as the sky above them
Orange.

The three had returned by then as the whole group just went in their rooms to get dressed and head out for the tonight's festival.

-ash's pov

I woke up , like after the deepest sleep of my life. For a moment I felt like I was back in my childhood and just woke and can play again. But looking at my sorroundings just got me back to reality.

I yawned and stretched a bit looking at the time on the clock and it was 6pm?!?! I rushed out the bed to bathroom and got fresh in a instant. I knew I had to figure out a way to wear that Yukata.

And so I started trying to wear it up and let me say this, I didn't really did a bad job more or less after telling Lucario to ask Brock for instructions and using them, I finally was able to wear it. And so with that I glanced into the mirror one last time putting on a smile and headed out my room with Pikachu at my shoulder and Lucario walking along side.

I saw Gary Brock and Clemont standing there but not the girls? I walked near them and decided to question up.

"Hey, where's everyone else?" I asked looking at them with confusion.

"They already headed out , we were waiting on a certain mister sleepy head" Gary smirked.

"Well Thank you for waiting but let's go. I can't wait!" I said in enthusiasm making a fist.

"Can't wait for?" Asked Brock thinking he's finally gonna confess to Serena.

"Trying out the tasty food on the stalls" I replied as we started heading out.

The boys behind just sweat dropped and followed me.

After walking for a while we made it to the girls who were waiting for us to arrive so we could enter the town together. The town was decorated like a gorgeous bride , every street and house had lighting on them which all was being illuminated by the heavenly comet above our heads. Speaking of heavenly and gorgeous, my eyes layed on Serena and OH MY FUCKING GOD. She looks so gorgeous and cute I just can't help but drool looking at her.
