The Promise We Did

Chapter 17

"Brock....where's the next Pokemon center?  I'm .... Tired" said Gary.

"Yeah... we've been walking since the last 3 hours Brock. You better know where we're going!" said Misty in a slight anger.

"Chill out guys, I know where we're going.....AHA here we are. Luminose City" I said admiring the city that just came into our sights. It was our first time being in Kalos , Me Garry and Misty were on a journey in Kalos. Well we all wanted Ash to tag along aswell , but we went to his house before starting the journey but his mom said he hasn't been home in 2 years. So we just went out without him. 

"Finally.... we can get some rest" said Gary collapsing on his knees.

"Stop being so weak" said Misty.

"Oh yeah? we're walking from the past 3 hours with no water. I swear i'm gonna call out Blastoise and ask him to use hydro cannon on me. I'll at least get some water!!!" he exclaimed.

"You're such a weak guy i swear" said Misty. 

They both were ready to fight but saw Brock already making his way into the city. 

"HEY !!! WAIT FOR ME" both of them screamed and ran after Brock.

After again walking for around 15 minutes, they came across a restaurant. They headed in and sat down on a couch inside waiting for the waiter.

"Good evening, I'll be your waiter for today. What would you like to order?" asked the waiter.

"One Takiyama Ramen" said misty

"One Takiyama Ramen" said Garry

"Ramen for me aswell" I said.

"3 orders of Ramen coming right up!" he said taking his leave.

"So how long are we gonna stay here?" asked Misty.

"We'll explore the city today and leave tomorrow" i replied.

"Huh that sounds like a plan" Gary added.

While we were waiting for our food, I saw 5 people enter through the door. Although i didn't care to look closely , But a certain bluenette reminded me of Dawn. When she actually faced towards me. It was clear to me it was Dawn, just different clothes.

"Dawn?" i said just a bit loud so she can hear me.

Her head turned towards me.

"Brock?" she said coming towards our table. 

I got up and got tackled into a hug by her. 

"Damn Dawn, you've grown up" i said. Last time i saw her she was 13 and now after 5 years. She's the same but a bit taller and more mature i'd say.

"Look at yourself, you finally got the beard you hoped for Mr Pokemon Doctor" she added.

"Eh well, yeah" i said

I got tackled into another hug by what looked like May? Damn, what's with the old friends today.

"How are you Brock , It's been so long!" she said.

"I'm just fine May and Yeah its been quite a while" i replied.

"So who's he?" asked a certain honey blonde girl looking at Dawn.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Brock and looking at your lovely face just makes my heart race!" i said kneeling down holding her hand. To my bad luck my pokeball consisting Toxicroak opened up and poison jabbed me, dragging me right at my seat.

The girl stood there sweat dropping with a weird smile plastered on her face.

"He's Brock , he has traveled with Me and May before" said Dawn.
