The Promise We Did

Chapter 40

"Welcome everyone to the semi-finals of Kalos Queen competition, with us today are handful of talented Performers but only two of them will be advancing to the finals" The mc announced getting up on the stage from the curtains to the side.

I leaned back on the seat to get more comfortable as i eagerly wait for Serena's performance to commence, I opened up the schedule to check for the order.

-Introduction
-Miette
-May
-Serena
-Dawn
-Shauna.

Miette and Shauna? Damn, they're still competing? They've been around since forever it feels like. Miette used to tease Serena back in the days for me if i remember correctly and Shauna used to hang out with Tierno and Trevor.

"Please welcome Miette" said the Mc heading off behind the curtains. The lights in the auditorium dimmed even further while the stage went completely dark. Soon a light shot up on Miette on stage as her performance began. 

[Time Skip]

"Please welcome our next performer , Serena!" said the Mc as we walked away in the curtains to the left.

Serena walked up to the stage, the lights were still on and looked right at me as she stood along with Svyleon and Delphox. Our eyes conveyed what we wanted to as i gave her a small nod. She smiled and then the lights went dim , once again the song started along with Serena executing her moves flawlessly and shining like a queen out there....my queen......

On the other hand , there was someone noticing it all happen. Mallow , she looked at Serena looking right at me and then at me who had his eyes locked on her with a huge smile on my face. It was obvious to her that something is up between us two. Probably wasn't aware of the fact that we both are a couple.

"So Ash" Mallow started.

"Yeah?" I asked , still looking only at Serena.

"You and that girl performing seem quite close" she asked.

"Yeah...she's my Queen...." I said still looking at Serena and her dance , man she gets me to drool everytime.

"Queen?" Mallow asked again

"Oh , she's my girlfriend" I replied finally looking at Mallow with a grin.

"Wait a minute , Ash Ketchum the densest man on earth. Have a girlfriend?" She asked out of surprise.

"Yeah" I replied scratching the back of my head smiling then focusing just on Serena's dance.

Eventually after a smooth performance , it was so animated like it's a live movie.
When the music started again. Delphox jumped and created a flame wheel through which Serena and Svyleon jump through and landed,  then they started their dance. She effortlessly did all her steps while her pokemons created a dynamic lighting in the background using their attacks. After a while the music is starting to end. Svyleon jumps and fires a dazzling gleam in the air sending sparkles down while Serena and Delphox finish their performance by standing in the ending pose. The crowd erupts in cheers which was relatively higher than before.
The performance came to an end. With one last time our eyes locking up and we both smiling while i clapped furiously , she bowed down to the audience and then went backstage.

After 2 more performances the show was finally over, the mc came on the stage holding a envolope , as it was time to declare the winners. Only two will be selected for finals. 

"Now , it's time that everyone of you were waiting for. The results" said the Mc. As i mc unfolded the envolope my heart beat increased with every second that passed, i can't imagine what Serena would be thinking right now. 

"So the first perfomer that'll be heading to the finals is....." 

Heart beat , i swear if measured it would be touching the sky right now.

"Shauna!" said the Mc. The crowed erupted in cheers and applause.

"The 2nd Competitor , who will be facing Shauna in finals is......"

Cm'on it can be no one else than Serena.

"Serenaaaaaaaa" Said the mc. Sighed in relief smiling and cheered as hard as i could.

"To all the other competitors , you all have had a great journey and showcased your skills quite well. I wish you all an excellent future and for you guys, I'll see you in finals!" said the mc. The audience kept applausing until the lights on the stage were out and the mc was no longer there.

"Now , lets find the group?" Mallow said.

"What group?" Bonnie asked.

"You'll know. It'll take us some time to meet with Serena and others as they are probably changing up. In the mean time , we could help Mallow to find the Alolan friends" I said.

"There's more people?" Clemont asked.

"yeap" Mallow replied smiling. 

"Well then , lets go" Gary said , we just nodded and proceeded to follow Mallow, while she opened up her pokedex trying to call someone, probably Professor or Kiawe.

"Hello, Lillie where are you guys?" Mallow asked as we were walking.

"What do u mean you don't know, what's around you right now" Mallow asked again.

"Staff room? are you with others?" Mallow asked.

"Alright, we'll be right there" Mallow said cutting the call.

"So they're near the staff room. Now we only need to find the staff room" Mallow said smiling.

"That's no big issue , I know the way" I said as i starting leading them.

"And how do u know that?" Gary asked out of curiosity.

"Cause i dropped Serena there dumb gare bare" I said smiling.

"FOR THE LAST TIME , DON'T CALL ME THAT ASHY" Gary exclaimed.

"And you don't call me ASHY...only Serena can!" I replied chuckling.

"I still can't believe that Ash has a girlfriend" Mallow said giggling on her own.

"Yea well , i wouldn't believe it aswell if i didn't see it with my own eyes" Misty added. 

By the time the talk ended we were almost there , I was excited to see the alolan gang again , although i was quite shocked too....This quest...it's all coming in place now. The voices they're getting louder and louder and now there's everyone here , that i saw in that vision. Well , everyone but Max.

"Mallow! and WAIT A MINUTE ASH!?"
