The Grimes twins were inseparable since birth. Raising hell with Shane Walsh all through grade school till graduation when the boys became cops and (Y/n) joined the military. Then the world went to shit, the dead rose reclaiming the world.
Now (Y/n...
That next morning, you woke up to an empty bed. You sit up quickly, and look around the quiet room, only to find Daryl wasn't anywhere in sight. You look over at the clock, 8:24 a.m. He must be getting ready to go look for Sophia. Swiftly you get out of the bed and stretch your back slightly until the pang of your side prevents a full stretch. You refraining from groaning in immediate annoyance at your restrictive motions, you grab your ripped jeans that Maggie gave you. Along with the white shirt and red flannel before heading into the bathroom to get changed. You quickly change, after brushing your teeth and throwing your hair up into a messy bun, you walk out of the bathroom to put your combat boots on. You walk over to the mirror realizing you forgot how good you looked in jeans and a t-shirt. Simply because it had felt like a life time since the last time you wore actual civilian clothing with the knowledge that the person you loved was going to see.
(Your outfit, Also if ya can't wear a messy bun just use your favorite causal hair style.)

You smile at your appearance before head out of your room and into the kitchen. Only see Beth and Maggie cooking eggs for breakfast together. "Mornin'!" Maggie greets happily making Beth turn to see you and wave shyly at you. "Mornin'. Have y'all seen Daryl?" You question after greeting them back. "He went outside about an hour ago." Beth tells you as she hands you a paper plate with piece of buttered toast and eggs on it. "Thank you." You say back and she just smiles at you as a response. You make a sorta sandwich with the toast. Folding the crispy bread over the eggs so you could carry your breakfast out side with you. "I'll be out side if you lady's need me for anythin'." You tell them before biting into your mask shift breakfast sandwich and starting to walk off. "Alright- Take it easy today!" Maggie yells to you from the kitchen as you walk out the front door.
You can't help but smile at her words as you cross the porch and start down the steps. You spot the camp that Lori and Glenn had set up as you shove the last few bites of your sandwich into your mouth while you start towards them. You brush the crumbs off your hands as you make it under the shade of the trees. Seeing Carol carrying a basket of damp laundry needing to be hung up to the picnic table. You quickly look away from her before she looks at you. You didn't have the heart to look at her yet Especially with Sophia still missing. Instead, you walk past her to the RV and see Glenn sitting on the steps tying his shoes. "Hey, where's the extra tent?" You ask him as he looks up at you. "You mean your other tent?" He playfully corrects making you smile down at him and roll your eyes playfully back. "I reckon." You respond making him get up and walk into the RV to retrieve it for you. He comes back outside a few seconds later with the tent still in its case. "Thanks." You say as you take it from him and he nods at you with a friendly smile. You walk off with the large tent that nobody had claimed since you found it weeks ago by chance. You'd never used it either considering you had your small military tent. You'd found it a while ago in a random car, and took it. Just in case anyone would find need for it. Shane had even said you should use it instead of the small one you had, but you were too stubborn to listen to him. That, and you hadn't had Daryl yet. Now you wanted him to share your tent with you, if he was up for it of course. You walk past Carol again, who was starting to hang up cloths. Still unable to look at her from the guilt weighing on your shoulders. Lori was helping her, who had just gotten up from her tent by the looks of it. Apparently she had slept in, and Carol had let her. You lean the tent case up against the large oak tree that provides the main shade for the camp. You'd set it up by that same tree at your own pace before shrugging off the flannel and tying it around your hips leaving you in the white t-shirt. It was getting too damned hot out to keep it on, especially in the Georgia sun.
