004- REJECTION OF ARMS

We made our way to the other building na sabi ni Sev kanina ay Weaponry daw ng academy for our next class, Arms. Nagtaka ako kung ano ang ibig sabihin nun kaya tinanong ko si Sev and he just said that it was a subject for training ourselves to use divine weapons which are blessed by our parental deities.

"The Class Medialis and Neophytos will be joining us in the class Primarius with this subject, along with other chosen subjects. To simply put it, we will be having joint classes.", Sev suddenly spoke beside me nang makapasok kami sa sobrang laking room. Nagtaka naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"Neophytos and Medialis?", I curiously asked. Napalingon siya sakin as his brows creased.

"How come you don't have any idea about the other classes?", he asked me. Naguguluhan din ito. Nagkibit-balikat lang ako sa kanya.

"Wala naman kayong sinabi?", I sarcastically answered in a questioning tone. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Hindi ka naman nagtanong. Tss. Well, the academy is divided into three classes. There's the Class Neophytos, Medialis, and Primarius. Demigods or semideuses who belong to the class Neophytos are novices. Hindi pa nila kayang kontrolin ang mga kapangyarihang taglay nila and most of them are new here in the academy. There are sons and daughters of minor deities, nymphs, or huntresses of the goddess Artemis. There are also scribes and oracles-in-training of the god Apollo---", I cut him off.

"If that's the case then why did they place me in the Class Primarius? I'm not even a daughter of an Olympian deity like the rest of you.", I stated as I felt the guilt creeping up on me. All I am is trouble.

"Yan din ang iniisip ko noong una. I was stunned actually, when I saw you wearing the Class Primarius' uniform. I mean, no offense but you couldn't even barely control, as much as 'have' information about your attributes pero naging kaklase ka agad namin.", walang-prenong sambit ni Sev kaya mas lalong sumama ang loob ko. He's right.

"But I know that the goddess Eunomia wouldn't place you in our class without some respectable reason.", he stated as he smiled at me. His storm grey eyes sparkling, which made me speechless.

"Anyways, moving on... See those students wearing brown and gold uniforms? They're from Class Neophytos. Their total number here in the academy is about... hmm. Five hundred?", he estimated. Tumango lang ako at tsaka siya nagpatuloy. The academy's massive pero konti lang kami rito. Nice.

"Meanwhile, the students wearing red and gold uniforms are from the Class Medialis. Skilled sons and daughters of the minor deities, descendants of some of the major gods and goddesses, and like I've said earlier, hunters of the goddess Artemis and scribes and oracles of the god Apollo. All of them have undergone proper training during their time at Class Neophytos.", sunod-sunod na sambit niya at binigyan pa ako ng isang mapanuksong titig sa huling sinabi. I just glared at him as he laughed.

"There are about more than two hundred in the Class Medialis. Yung 'descendants' ng mga major gods and goddess na sinasabi ko kanina means that they are either grandchildren or great-grandchildren of the major deities. Children of the major deities kagaya ko at yung iba pang kaklase natin ay nilalagay diretso sa Class Primarius ng academy kahit novices palang kami noon pa man.", he trailed off and I couldn't help but to wonder...

"Why would they put the direct descendants of the major Greek gods and goddess on Class Primarius kahit novices palang? Shouldn't they start learning on Class Neophytos instead?", I asked him again. Napailing nalang siya na tila ba naaaliw sakin.
