006- THE GRAY WOMEN
I took a deep breath as I stared at my reflection in the room's full-length mirror for a while bago humarap sa kama ko where Mageia and Kratos were lying down and staring at me.
The rays of the sun from outside the windows were illuminating my bedroom too. Sunrise na pala.
"Do I look okay?", I asked Mageia and Kratos as I gestured at myself na para bang naiintindihan nila ako.
They gave off a short howl and stuck their tongues out at tsaka tumakbo papunta sa'kin as they licked my hand. Hmm. I guess they approve.
I'm sporting a simple, light-grey long-sleeved shirt tucked in my high-waist black jeans, and a pair of white sneakers as I tied-up my long, thick, and wavy ombre-silver colored hair in a high ponytail para hindi masyadong sagabal. Should I cut it? I guess, nah.
I then made my way back to my bed as I double-checked my backpack in which, pinahiram sa'kin ni Sev kanina.
Maaga silang pumunta ni Kai dito sa House of Hecate kanina. About 2 am when they decided to barge into my bedroom without notice at habang natutulog pa ako na hindi manlang sila nalapa nina Mageia and Kratos. Well, Kai happened. He's pretty good with dogs---wolves.
We had a short meeting earlier at pinaalalahanan nila ako sa mga rules at restrictions sa quest namin. I should also bring only one backpack for all of my necessities na halos ikinalaglag pa ng panga ko. Because really? For two weeks?
Wala naman akong nagawa kaya sinunod ko nalang sila. Sinabi rin ni Kai na hindi ko pwedeng dalhin sina Mageia at Kratos because it'll be a hassle. He said I can just summon them if I ever needed them though. Gaya nung ginawa ko nung una raw but with a different chant. I didn't argue.
I almost jumped in place when the doors of my bedroom suddenly opened at bumungad sa'kin sina Kai at Sev.
Kai was sporting his usual black outfit---well, at least his sneakers were white this time. On the other hand, Sev's wearing his denim jeans, a pair of sneakers, and a plain white t-shirt.
Damn, their outfits are too simple but why do they make it look like they're modeling famous brands on a men's fashion magazine?
Oh right. They're half-god for crying out loud Ahlkria. In other words, semideuses.
"You look cool, Kria.", kumento ni Sev while eyeing me habang naglalakad sila palapit sa gawi ko. I immediately glared at the both of them.
"Thanks. Pero alam niyo ba ang word na 'privacy' dito? You're always barging into my room without permission. That's trespassing. Paano kung naabutan niyo akong nakahubad at nagbibihis dito?", I snapped at the two of them sa inis. Tumawa naman si Sev.
"Then that would be a wondrous sight to behold.", he pervertedly commented kaya agad ko siyang binatukan.
"G*go! Bastos ka!", singhal ko.
Tumawa lang siya bago humingi ng pasensya. Kita ko naman ang pag-upo ni Kai sa kama ko as he ridiculously stared at me.
"If you don't want intruders barging into your room like this then I suggest that you should learn how to lock your doors next time. You're being stupid.", he harshly commented.
"Then if you're not an intruder, you should learn how to knock. Now who's being stupid?", segunda ko kay Kai kaya napatawa si Sev before he grabbed my bag at siya na mismo ang nagdala rito.
"Let's just go. Pupunta pa tayo sa temple ni goddess Tyche.", Sev declared as he marched his way out of my bedroom to loosen-up the tension. Sumunod nalang kami ni Kai at pati narin sina Mageia and Kratos na iniwan namin sa living room.
