014- THE SECOND PIECE
"They gave us the answer on how to find the Fates---the Moirai, I mean.", I am very sure about it. Napatingin sina Prim, Rios, at Eur sakin as we were gathered in the living room of the villa to settle some things.
Mabait naman pala sina Stheno at Euryale. They were just misunderstood by many people who didn't know them. But I really can't deny the fact that Euryale was the one with the lesser fuse between the two sisters.
"They spring on first light

To the children of sight
Foretell what can become"
I thought about what they said earlier. Nagpaalam din ang dalawa sa'min na aalis muna dahil mayroon silang pupuntahan. Naiwan kami dito sa villa with their four Eidolon maids.
"The first line of the hint meant that the Fates only appear at dawn---first light. It's referring to the sunrise. Kailangan nating salubungin ang pagsikat ng araw bukas.", Eur explained. I felt glad na pareho kami ng iniisip sa kung ano ang ibig sabihin nung unang linya ng hint na galing sa mga Gorgons. Ilang sandali lang ay napaisip ulit ako nang maalala ko ang isa sa mga importanteng nasabi nina Stheno at Euryale kanina.
"They'll come when they're called. But only those who have the right ability can summon them. It's up to the four of you on how to decode our message, but we will give you one last hint to find the Fates and ask them for the second piece of the prophecy yourselves."
"To the children of sight. The Gorgons clearly stated earlier that only those who possess the right ability can summon the Fates. None of us here have an attribute close enough for prediction but me. It has something to do with my inherited ability with the crossroads from my mother, the goddess Hecate.", I explained to them. Kaagad naman na sumang-ayon si Prim sakin.
"If anyone of us here would be capable enough to summon the Fates then it would be no other than you, Kria.", she added as I saw how they stared at me like they're all counting on what I can do.
"But will the Gorgons really keep their word about giving us a vial of blood from their right side if we successfully deliver them the second piece of the broken prophecy?", biglaang tanong ni Rios. I noticed how the other two hesitated pero kaagad akong tumango sa kanya.
"They will. Naniniwala ako kina Stheno at Euryale. They'll keep the end of the bargain.", I firmly answered. Nagdadalawang-isip man ay tumango narin sakin yung tatlo.
"Alright, so everything's settled. Ahlkria, we'll accompany you tomorrow to the eastern summit of Mount Seppia. Doon unang sisikat ang araw---", si Eur ang nagsalita pero agad siyang pinutol ni Prim.
"But I'm afraid we'll have to leave you there alone afterwards at hihintayin ka nalang namin sa base ng mountain. We're not really sure pero baka hindi magpakita ang Fates kung kasama kami. The hint specifically says 'to the children of sight, foretell what can become.'", Prim reasoned-out so I have no other choice but to agree, sa kadahilanang may punto naman talaga ang mga sinabi niya.
We talked for a few minutes until we decided to go upstairs for bed. I have a weird feeling about tomorrow, and I think it involves the second piece of the prophecy.

"Keep your word.", may diin na sambit ni Eur habang kaharap namin ngayon sina Stheno at Euryale sa harap ng villa referring to the deal we made with them. They're seeing us off on our journey to see the Fates habang madilim pa ang buong paligid dahil madaling-araw palang. We're now off to the eastern summit of Mount Seppia.
