020- HYMN OF THE INSURRECTION

"G-Goddess Artemis!", our eyes widened when we saw the goddess step out of the shadowed corner of the room.

Her eyes lit-up like the silvery moon as her bronze-colored hair was made into a thick braid. The symbol of the lunar crescent was tattooed on her forehead and she's now wearing a white and gold, knee-length Greek dress. She held a silver long-bow on her right hand, and a quiver full of golden arrows hung on her back. I swear she almost looked the same age as the rest of us here. Well, she is the twin sister of the god Apollo after-all.

We bowed our heads and kneeled in her presence to show respect.

"You dare show insolence infront of me? Aren't you gonna kneel in my presence too? Mortal?", napaangat kami ng tingin sa kung sino ang kausap niya at nanlaki kaagad ang mata namin when we saw Kiran facing the goddess with a sly grin.

"I don't bow down to anyone. Especially gods like you.", mas lalo kaming nagulat sa sinabi niya.

"Who do we have here? Quite the stubborn one, huh? Are you aware of the possible consequences for your defiant behavior, mortal? You 'will' bow down to 'me', and I will not say this again... On your knees, now.", the goddess' sharp and commanding tone almost made us shiver. Like she held the moon's cold power with her being its deity.

The goddess hysterically laughed infront of us for a few minutes bago kami tuluyang pinatayo ulit at tsaka siya lumapit sa gawi ni mom---the goddess Athena. Artemis just couldn't stop grinning as if we were objects of her amusement.

"Well that was quite refreshing. I always wanted to do that---", she suddenly stopped after realizing what she just said. The goddess Artemis then cleared out her throat before shifting back to her serious facade.

"As I was saying earlier, I will be the one to train the daughter of Hecate. She won't be joining the rest of you to Athens with Athena.", she trailed off at kita ko ang rumehistro na kaba sa mukha ni Kria. Maging kami ay nagulat din. Suddenly, we saw Clea raising her hand na kaagad namang tinawag ni goddess Artemis.

"Yes, semideus?", the goddess called out.

"Not to be offensive, your grace. But why would you train Ahlkria yourself if she's your twin brother's betrothed? Don't you have some kind of grudge to hold against the god Apollo?", nagulat kaming lahat sa sinabi ni Clea at kinabahan. But Clea just told the truth. Yun din ang ipinagtaka namin. We all know how she dislikes her twin brother, the god Apollo.

"Look, semideus. As much as I hate that good-for-nothing brother of mine, I don't hold anything against his betrothed, Ahlkria. To marry her off to him, that was father's idea. And besides, this task is a favor to her mother, Hecate. As she 'is' a moon goddess such as myself, I gladly accepted her favor to train her daughter, Ahlkria.", the goddess Artemis' words were enough to clear our minds of confusion. She suddenly turned to Ahlkria na hanggang ngayon ay naguguluhan paring nakatitig sa kanya.

"Daughter of Hecate, I heard you're quite a handful yourself huh? Short-fuse? That won't be a problem. I think you'd be a good match for that worthless sun-god brother of mine. Give Apollo a hard-time once the two of you are married alright?", hindi namin mapigilang mapanganga sa sinabi nito kay Kria na ngayon ay hindi na nakapagsalita sa harapan niya.
